The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Thursday, December 28, tease that Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) will brush off his drunken behavior. He won’t think his arrest was a big deal, but Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) will suggest it most certainly is. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will arrive to offer a warning about alcoholism. She’ll leave Victor (Eric Braeden) of the loop on all the drama.
Later, J.T. will decide to stay in town and help Reed work through his issues. Victor and Nikki’s Y&R vow renewal will eventually kick off at the ranch. They’ll be grateful that their loved ones could come together for this happy occasion. Nikki and Victor will seem truly touched as they exchange heartfelt vows. Vic will promise that their love is only going to grow stronger from here.
Afterward, Sharon (Sharon Case) will step away while Scott (Daniel Hall) searches for Abby (Melissa Ordway). Once he finds her, he’ll deliver some well wishes for 2018. Abby will hope a great year’s ahead for Scott, too. They’ll lean in for a passionate kiss just as Nick (Joshua Morrow) walks in. An outraged expression will creep across Nick’s face before he stomps off.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Jill (Jess Walton) will do some scheming. She’ll make sure Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) are the only guests at her New Year’s Eve party. They’ll battle embarrassment once they figure out what’s up. As Jill watches nearby, she’ll be bummed when they skip the midnight lip lock and embrace instead.
Elsewhere, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will make a confession. She’ll tell Devon (Bryton James) that she has no interest in Cane whatsoever. However, Sam has definitely been on her mind. Devon will push Hilary for more info on her desires, but she won’t offer much. They’ll change the subject and deal with some awkwardness.
After the New Year’s Eve countdown, Devon will share some sweet parting words with Hilary and leave without a kiss. The Young and the Restless fans will have to wait a little longer on this reunion.
