The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 19, tease that a fierce battle will kick off in the boardroom. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) conflict will reach an all-time high as they fight for control of Jabot. Ashley will be convinced that she should be running the show. She won’t think Jack can successfully steer the ship when he’s so focused on Dina (Marla Adams).
Ashley will get several board members to back her up on this. Others will remain loyal to Jack. Since the vote will be pretty split, Jack will come up with a way to tilt it in his favor. He’ll make a sneaky move that leaves Ashley fuming. As CEO, Jack can add new board members whenever he feels like it. He’ll determine that a fresh point of view is needed at this very moment.
Of course, Jack will only want to bring in someone who’s willing to support him. That’s why Y&R spoilers say he’ll choose Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). She owes Jack for all the affair drama and Ashley isn’t her favorite person anyway. It’d bring Phyllis great joy to watch Ashley go down.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will grow concerned as the chaos hits. She may worry about Phyllis getting caught up in all the Abbott family drama. Lauren won’t want her employee to cause trouble for Fenmore’s. She’ll do whatever it takes to protect what’s most important to her.
Just when Jack thinks this is in the bag, a surprising board member will cast a vote from a distance. The news will certainly throw Jack for a loop. There is Y&R buzz that the mystery voter could be another Abbott or perhaps even Graham Bloodworth (Max Shippee)! Across town, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden) will reach an agreement. After Victor confronts Nikki about transferring his money to offshore accounts, he’ll make her squirm a bit.
Once he’s had his fun, Victor and Nikki will come up with a way to move past this. They’ll make in intriguing deal, so it looks like Nikki will once again be sucked into Victor’s world. Fortunately, Nikki may not mind in the end. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Nikki and Victor’s reunion could be drawing near.
