The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 19, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will move forward with separate campaigns. They’ll make their way across town for a chat with each board member. Jack will be determined to stay in control of Jabot, but Ashley will be equally determined to knock him out of power.
First, Jack will remind Billy (Jason Thompson) that he owes him big time. Billy will admit he doesn’t want to rock the boat since they’re finally in a good place. Nevertheless, Ashley will stop by afterward with a tempting pitch. She’ll beg Billy to do what’s best for the family and vote Jack out.
Later, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will get a visit from Jack. He’ll decide to make her a board member so she can support him at the upcoming meeting. Jack will also find Abby (Melissa Ordway) at Crimson Lights. He’ll try to secure her vote, but Ashley won’t be far behind. She’ll maintain that Jack has too much on his plate right now.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will agree to back Jack on one condition. He’ll need to up the funding for Fenmore’s physical locations. She’ll get a promise from Jack, but she’ll still have to hear Ashley out. Ash will vow to give Fenmore’s plenty of attention if Lauren helps put her in charge.
Ashley will also make an admission to Ravi in Tuesday’s Y&R episode. She’ll acknowledge that she’s been leading Ravi on and she’ll be sorry for that. Ravi will consider jumping ship, but he’ll ultimately decide to stick around at Jabot. He’ll assure Ashley that he likes working for her.
At the board meeting, Jack and Ashley will give their speeches before voting begins. Ashley, Abby and Billy will all give Jack a vote of “no confidence.” After Jack introduces Phyllis as a new board member, she’ll take his side. Lauren and Traci will support Jack as well. Jack and Ashley will face a tie, but one last vote will come in by courier. It’ll be Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) with a vote against Jack.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will officially be voted out of the CEO spot, so expect the tension between the Abbott siblings to rev up. Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will fill Nick (Joshua Morrow) in on her decision to swipe money from Victor’s (Eric Braeden) personal account. Nick will be somewhat pleased by Nikki’s sneakiness, but he’ll worry about the consequences.
At the ranch, Victor will inform Nikki that he knows the truth. He’ll suggest that he can make this go away if she’ll come home and fix their relationship on his terms. J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) already took care of the problem, but that won’t stop Victor from getting what he wants out of this!
