The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers updates for the week of September 4 tease that some hot relationship drama is on the way. According to Y&R’s weekly promo, a love triangle is about to explode. No one is innocent in this complex situation. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) are all to blame on some level.
It’s obvious that Billy still feels pulled toward Victoria, but he’s acting like Phyllis is crazy. Despite the fact that Victoria gave up on Billy, she’s now trying to steal him away. Of course, Phyllis’ scheme with Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy’s server spying are going to be major issues.
All of this is going to blow up soon enough. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will blast Phyllis for pushing Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes) to make a move. She’ll wonder just how far Phyllis is willing to go. Victoria will suspect that Phyllis wants to destroy Brash and Sassy.
Later, Victoria will plant a kiss on Billy and pretend to regret it. She’ll be quite satisfied with her sexy strategy. Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will assume Victoria blabbed, so she’ll come clean to Billy about Ben. She’ll plead her case, but Billy will view this as a betrayal.
Billy will think Victoria might be right about Phyllis’ sabotage efforts. He’ll rip into Phyllis for causing problems when Brash and Sassy is already struggling. Phyllis will be honest about her jealousy, but she’ll think it’s warranted. Billy is blind if he can’t see what Victoria is trying to do.
While Phyllis and Billy face off, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will defend Mariah (Camryn Grimes). At the TV studio, she’ll get in Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) face and argue that Mariah’s relationship with Devon (Bryton James) is solid. Hilary will ask why Tessa always feels the need to be Mariah’s bodyguard. She’ll suggest that it’s pathetic, but Tessa won’t back down.
It looks like Hilary could get a bit suspicious about their bond. She’ll point out that Mariah seems much closer to “Little Miss Alternative” than she does to Devon. Will Hilary realize Mariah has more than friendly feelings for Tessa?
