The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for the week of July 17 through July 21 tease that some huge shockers are coming up in Genoa City. For starters, Victor (Eric Braeden) will wash his hands of his son. Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) decision to sabotage Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) concert obviously didn’t go over well.
After Victor disowns Nick, he’ll throw a punch and create more chaos. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) won’t approve of all the clashing. She’ll head to the Abbott cabin with Jack (Peter Bergman) to get away from the mess. However, a stunning kiss will leave Jack and Nikki wondering if friendship is really all they’re interested in.
Meanwhile, Victor will try to solve another problem. When he finds out Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) went on the run with Kevin (Greg Rikaart), he’ll begin his search. Since Victor has excellent resources, it won’t take long to track them down.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will unleash his wrath, but Kevin will stand his ground. He’s not giving up his future with Chloe without a fight. Elsewhere, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will struggle to make things right for his family. Lily (Christel Khalil), Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) are all incredibly upset at the moment.
Cane will try some new tactics in his quest for forgiveness. Will they pay off or fall flat? Either way, it’s clear that Cane has a long road ahead of him. Juliet (Laur Allen) will continue to be a thorn in his side. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will also have some relationship issues. As Devon (Bryton James) remains drawn to Hilary (Mishael Morgan), Mariah will battle serious insecurities.
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will do her best to console her pal, but she’ll have her own drama to deal with. Her past could come back to haunt her if she’s not careful. Zack (Ryan Ashton) knows her secret and he might play a role in how it comes out.
Nevertheless, Tessa will hope she can prolong the inevitable. She’ll take action to keep her history hidden this week. Across town, Y&R spoilers say Dina (Marla Adams) will be at odds with her son. Jack will manage to enrage his mother and it’ll lead to a soapy slap. Perhaps this is about Graham (Max Shippee) and their efforts to conceal the truth.
Regardless, Dina isn’t going to be happy. Can Jack make it up to her? Will Ashley (Eileen Davidson) pitch in with their reconciliation?
