The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 12, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will keep Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) out of the loop on his devious actions. When she stops by his office, Victor will suggest that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) brought a lot of pain to Chelsea’s life. Chelsea will gripe that it could’ve been avoided if Chloe hadn’t returned to town.
Victor will comfort Chelsea with a warm hug, but things will be anything but warm at the ranch. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will point out that Victor behaved ruthlessly and won’t be forgiven. Nevertheless, she’ll think Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) should stay quiet to protect the rest of the Newmans.
After a fierce debate, Victoria and Nick will get on board with the plan. They’ll determine that it’s best if Abby (Melissa Ordway) isn’t in on this secret. Victoria will promise to keep the truth from Billy (Jason Thompson) as well. Across town, Billy will support Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) as he prepares for his driver’s test. They’ll meet up with Victoria after Reed passes.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will sense that something’s bothering Victoria. He’ll encourage Victoria to give him updates on the latest round of Newman conflict. Elsewhere, Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will push Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) in Scott’s (Daniel Hall) direction. Phyllis won’t believe Scott needs his mom to play matchmaker. She’ll think she can find a beau on her own, too.
At Jabot, Jack (Peter Bergman) will console Gloria (Judith Chapman) when she opens up about Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) heartache. Once Phyllis arrives, she’ll spot their embrace. Gloria and Jack will confess that they’re involved with each other. Jack will argue that they’re single and aren’t hurting anybody.
After Gloria exits, Jack will tell Phyllis that he’s just having some fun. He’ll note that Phyllis should try it sometime. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Phyllis will take that advice soon. She’ll enjoy some steamy moments with Scott later this week.
Meanwhile, Nikki will once again rip into Victor. She’ll pop in his office to give him the news that they’re all keeping their mouths shut. However, Nikki will make it clear that this is all for show. The public won’t be aware of the turmoil that’s going on behind the scenes.
Nikki will contend that Victor is no longer part of the Newman family. Of course, we all know Nikki will soften eventually. How long will it take her to come around and forget Adam’s murder?
