The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Makes Chloe A Shocking Deal – The Moustache’s Brilliant Adam Newman Plan

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor’s (Eric Braeden) confrontation with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson)  on this week’s new Y&R episodes (May 1-5) will result in a virtual stalemate and some shocking consequences. While Chloe’s recent actions were criminal, she still holds leverage.

Victor has been balancing his thirst for vigilante justice with knowledge that Chloe could wreck his life and the lives of his family members. The ill-conceived scheme that Victor recruited her for last year exploded in his face, as Chloe admitted to killing Adam (Justin Hartley).

Of course The Young and the Restless fans were never shown that character perishing in flames and Paul (Doug Davidson) wasn’t able to produce enough physical evidence to fully confirm that Adam actually died. But everyone, including Victor believes that he did. That’s why Chloe’s in trouble.

Chloe lied to Victor’s face in order to secure his aid a few weeks ago. After being revealed by Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) at ‘Khloe’s’ remarriage ceremony, Chloe escaped from the Chancellor mansion. She sent a text to The Moustache asking him to meet her at what appeared to be a small airport. It surely couldn’t have been Genoa City’s main terminal, as it appeared to be far too small.

Victor was convinced that Chloe needed to leave town because Chelsea found evidence that was linked to last summer’s murder frame-up of Adam for Constance Bingham’s death. Chloe concocted that lie because she certainly couldn’t tell Victor that Chelsea found Adam’s wedding ring and that she (Chloe) then admitted to blowing the cabin sky high.

With use of the Newman corporate jet Chloe was able to finagle her way onto landed in Thunder Bay, Ontario, per the fleeing criminal’s instructions. She then sped off in an awaiting car. Victor wasted no time in assigning one of his security teams to track Miss Mitchell down. After that happened he left town himself.

Chloe told Victor that she didn’t want to be forced to return to a mental health facility. The Young and the Restless spoilers say that part of her tale was true. Does Chloe really hold enough hard evidence that if exposed would result in Victor being jailed? Hardcore Y&R viewers can’t say that the Black Knight has always escaped punishment, as he was incarcerated last year.

Victor’s dilemma involves stashing Chloe in a location where she won’t be a threat to him or his family, clearing his name, while also wanting to see justice imposed. As has happened before on The Young and the Restless, Victor Newman may need to make a deal with the devil and sacrifice justice, in this case for Adam, for his own well-being.

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Victor will reveal a brilliant plot on this week’s new Y&R episodes. With the help of Y&R’s clever writer team we see Victor embark on a plan that deals with all of his outstanding family issues regarding his guilt over Adam’s frame-up and Chloe’s assisted escape.

At the same time, Y&R spoilers don’t expect The Moustache to murder Chloe or have her killed. There are 3 good reasons for this: 1) Elizabeth Hendrickson is a great actress and a Chloe return to Genoa City in the future will be a choice favoured by fans – difficult if she is dead; 2) It is not in keeping with Y&R standards to have the most important and beloved character kill a woman in cold blood, no matter how much she might deserve it; 3) Adam Newman is alive and will return to The Young and the Restless – Chloe didn’t kill him!

The genesis of the unusual position Victor finds himself in traces back to his own hands. Plus he knows that his actions pushed Chloe over the edge, which resulted in the presumed death of Adam. That’s what makes this complex plot believable in a soapy way. CDL is a leading source for everything linked to The Young and the Restless. Check back regularly for Y&R spoilers and news!
