The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 13, tease that Billy (Jason Thompson) will make a stunning suggestion. He’ll sense that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is less than satisfied with her career path, so he’ll offer an alternative. Billy will contend that he has enough money for both of them. He’ll note that Phyllis could quit today if she wants.
Phyllis is a very independent woman, so she may not be on board with that plan. Even if she steps away from her current job, Phyllis would probably want to do something else. She might tell Billy that his solution works for some couples, but it just doesn’t work for their relationship – at least not right now.
Across town, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will have some huge news to pass along. She’ll get updates on who placed the highest bid for the park redevelopment contract. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick (Joshua Morrow) will anxiously await Hilary’s announcement. He’ll hope Devon (Bryton James) came out on top, but that seems a bit too easy.
Nick and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) may have to try a little harder to save the Genoa City’s beloved hotspot. While they focus on their strategy, another Newman will face a dilemma. Abby (Melissa Ordway) will open up to Lily (Christel Khalil) in Wednesday’s Y&R episode. She’ll confess that she made a mistake and is now dealing with a complicated situation.
When Abby comes clean about sleeping with Scott (Daniel Hall), Lily will choke on her beverage. She’ll definitely be taken aback by the admission. Abby will probably point out that their connection caught her by surprise, too. She hates Scott’s guts half the time, but she’s also incredibly attracted to him.
Abby will explain Scott’s feelings for Sharon (Sharon Case) and add that she doesn’t stand a chance. She may not even be sure she wants one yet. It’s all pretty confusing for Abby, but Lily will offer support. She’ll give Abby some advice and hope that everything will work out one way or another.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will have an even bigger mess to tackle soon. Once Sharon learns the truth, there’s going to be major backlash.
