The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 5, tease that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will rush back to Dr. Harris’ (Ron Melendez) place for an epic rescue. Before he returns, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will try to escape on her own. She’ll grab a Champagne bottle and bash Dr. Harris over the head with it.
After grabbing the car keys, Chloe will run toward the door. Dr. Harris will catch up with her before she can make a quick getaway. He’ll sedate Chloe, but Kevin’s arrival will shift the situation. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Dr. Harris and Kevin will fight over the gun. Once Kevin is in control, he’ll tie up Dr. Harris and take Chloe to safety.
Back in Genoa City, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will make her position perfectly clear to Juliet (Laur Allen). She won’t be happy about settling, but she’ll realize it’s her best option. Victoria will warn Juliet to keep her mouth shut about the details. If anything leaks, Juliet won’t get to keep the money.
Later, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will wonder if Juliet is sure Cane (Daniel Goddard) is the father. Juliet will seem shocked that Hilary would even ask that. After declaring that she’s certain, Juliet will hint that she wants Cane involved in raising this child.
At home, Cane will tell Lily (Christel Khalil) that he intends to speak with Juliet again. Lily will object to the idea, but Cane will point out that they need to schedule a paternity test. Lily will manage to swipe Cane’s phone, so she’ll look through it with Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) later. They won’t find any incriminating texts, but Jordan will still believe Lily should wash her hands of Cane.
Lily will be hesitant to bail, especially since she’s cheated before. However, Lily will confess that Juliet’s pregnancy bothers her. It’s tough for Lily to think of another woman carrying her husband’s baby.
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers state that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) will learn a little more about each other. When Mattie discusses her summer internship plans, she’ll explain that she’s hoping to score a spot at Brash and Sassy. After Reed notes that his mom owns it, Mattie will reveal that Cane is her dad.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mattie may have to make other arrangements! At the office, Victoria will snarl that she can’t trust Cane anymore.
