The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 18-22 tease that some shockers are coming up in Genoa City. First, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be stunned by Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) holiday attire. She’ll wear some Santa-themed lingerie as she cozies up to her man. Nick will suggest that Chelsea’s been naughty, but she’ll think he deserves a reward for being on the nice list.
Meanwhile, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be taken aback when J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) seemingly asks her out on a date. She’ll wonder if he’s serious and J.T. just might be. Something’s definitely up with him. There’s a good chance J.T.’s marriage is on the verge of destruction. That might be why J.T. was willing to take this job and give Mac (Clementine Ford) some space.
Abby already told Scott (Daniel Hall) she wasn’t willing to be the other woman. She’ll probably feel like she’s a cheater magnetic if married J.T. makes his move. On a happier note, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) will play her guitar and urge GC residents to sing along with some Christmas carols. It looks like Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will bond as they enjoy the music.
Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) will have fun hanging out with their parents. It’ll seem like old times for the Ashby family. If Lily and Cane can get on the same page, maybe they’ll get many more of these warm moments.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas without mean ol’ Mr. Grinch. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor (Eric Braeden) could be a bit of a Scrooge this year – at least in a fantasy or some sort of charade. Y&R’s weekly promo shows Victor toasting to prison as he grins mischievously at Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). She’s later seen behind bars in an orange jumpsuit.
However, The Young and the Restless spoilers aren’t adding up to jail time for Nikki. J.T. will lie to Christine (Laralee Bell) and Paul (Doug Davidson), so Nikki will soon be off the hook. Victor will also put his family before everything else. That doesn’t sound like a guy who’d be willing to turn Nikki in for sneaky transfers.
