The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for the week of May 8 through May 12 tease that we’ll see some fierce faceoffs. First, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) on-air catfight will create some buzz. It’ll also spark another confrontation between Hilary and Devon (Bryton James). It seems Hilary is struggling to navigate her life after their difficult divorce.
Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will get pretty catty as well. Billy (Jason Thompson) is at the center of their heated conflict. As far as Phyllis is concerned, Victoria blew her chance with the sexy Abbott. Phyllis believes “Philly” is here to stay.
When Victoria refuses to give up, Phyllis will play hardball. She’ll try to provoke a strong reaction from Victoria as their war rages on. Phyllis is probably hoping to make Victoria look like a jealous fool. She’ll do whatever she can to eliminate the competition, but Victoria may not back off that easily.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers hint that love will be in the air. Scott (Daniel Hall) will decide to drop by Sharon’s (Sharon Case) place this week. Sharon will wonder what’s up, but Scott will insist that he was just thinking about her. He’ll urge Sharon to understand that he really enjoys their time together.
Scott will open to Sharon about some Newman drama he’s dealing with. They’ll share a warm moment as Sharon helps Scott work through it. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Scott will eventually plant a kiss on Sharon, but she’ll hesitate to kiss him back. Sharon may feel like she’s betraying Dylan (Steve Burton) on some level.
However, Scott won’t be scared off. He’ll be respectful of Sharon’s wishes, but he still won’t think a lip lock could hurt. When Scott goes in for another kiss, Sharon will be receptive. It appears these two are growing much closer.
Elsewhere, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will get riled over her vicious mother. She thinks Dina (Marla Adams) is a cold-hearted monster. Jack (Peter Bergman) will consider the idea of reconnecting with Dina, but Ashley will contend that it’d be a huge mistake.
Across town, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will have revenge on her mind again. She’ll continue her quest to find Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), but she may need some assistance. Chelsea will reach out to Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood), so maybe he’ll pitch in on this.
