The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 9-13 tease that some fun returns are ahead. Beth Maitland will reprise her role as Traci and Tristan Rogers will pop up as Colin. These fan favorites will provide some crucial links in their stories, so Y&R viewers will want to stay tuned.

Unfortunately, it looks like we won’t get a chance to know Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) a little better. She recently entered the witness protection program, so it seems we can put her on the goings portion of our comings and goings list. On the bright side, maybe Crystal could pop up again once the sex ring is dismantled.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say big changes could be brewing behind the scenes. Y&R might be forced to find a new home! After receiving some tempting offers, the network is considering selling Television City studios.

The Los Angeles Times reported on this intriguing development, but it could take a while before the potential sale is made. If that happens, there’s no need to panic! The show must go on. The Young and the Restless would likely move to another CBS property or a Sony lot.

If you need further evidence that Y&R isn’t going anywhere, consider the milestone they just celebrated. The daytime drama has held the top spot in the ratings for a whopping 1,500 consecutive weeks. That equals almost 29 years, so it’s safe to say people are either loyal or loving it.

In Y&R alum news, David Lago has scored a role on a new thriller. Lago played Raul Guittierez in the early 2000s, but now he’s hard at work as Rand on The Creatress. There’s actually another interesting soap connection here. The film’s writer and director is Jason Cook, who’s best known for his former role as classic Shawn Brady on Days of Our Lives.

Redaric Williams, another Young and the Restless alum, has found a new role of his own. Y&R fans will remember Williams as Tyler Michaelson, who was in Genoa City from 2012-2014. Now Williams is involved in a cute holiday flick. Williams plays Franklin in Miss Me This Christmas, an independent film that’s set to be released this November.

If you’re missing those former Y&R stars, be sure to check out their hot projects. We’ll give you updates as other details emerge. Stick with the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
