The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will have to face the truth about her shady boyfriend. Zack (Ryan Ashton) is playing Abby like a fiddle right now. Every time doubts creep in, this smooth operator wiggles his way out of trouble. He makes Abby believe she’s his queen while he’s treating other young women like garbage.
It’s clear that Zack is total scum, so we have to wonder if he’ll actually make it out of all this alive. Y&R viewers have watched Zack threaten Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) and he’s turning Abby into a fool. Once everything blows up, Newman Enterprises will take a serious hit.
Victor may not even blame Abby since he was also deceived. He still has some minor reservations, but he basically approved of Zack. You’d think Victor would’ve uncovered some incriminating info by now. He’s apparently been too busy worrying about his feud with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Vic is really losing his touch!
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Zack will be exposed as the sex ring mastermind who manipulated Abby and put Newman at risk. How can Victor let Zack get away with such heinous behavior? He gave Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) a pass because she was mentally unstable and it was his fault she gained her freedom. Zack is just a lowlife who deserves to pay.
Y&R could send Zack to prison, but there’s no reason to bring this disturbing character back. Since they don’t need to save Zack for future storylines, they might as well kill him off. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that a shocker is brewing, so a murder would fit. Victor could certainly order Zack’s death, but the show could even turn this into a whodunit.
In addition to Victor, there would be other suspects. Abby, Alice (Tamara Clatterbuck), Crystal and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) would also be obvious options. Even Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Noah (Robert Adamson) could be suspects under the right circumstances. Sharon (Sharon Case), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Scott (Daniel Scott) could get the finger pointed at them, too.
The Young and the Restless could even throw us for a loop by including someone like Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood). After all, we don’t know the details of the past he’s trying to escape. Regardless, Y&R has a chance to let this plot go out with a bang. Even if Zack is killed in self-defense, they’d have the potential for a compelling story.
