Lala had decided to miss out on Sonoma. She had told Ariana that she was going to go with the rest of them and that they were going to celebrate Ariana’s birthday together however she had missed the flight to Sonoma and had later come up with some lame excuse about why she couldn’t make the trip. Lala had apparently texted Ariana that she was sorry about missing the birthday trip and that something came up. But what everyone wanted to know was what could be so important? Lala wasn’t at work because she was still using the time she had taken off for Ariana’s birthday trip and so there was no reason why she couldn’t be on the trip. So Ariana had gotten upset and surprisingly Jax had gotten upset as well.
Jax still didn’t like Lala though he wanted to know why she gets to apologize after the fact when that didn’t necessarily work out for the rest of them. However, prissy prima donna behavior aside the trip wasn’t all that bad. Tom had booked and surprised his friends with an RV for all of them. So they got to tour the area as if they were on a band and they had even went to a vineyard. The vineyard was a natural stop for this drinking bunch and they had come up with a game that was uniquely their own. The game was that the person who got the lowest card had to drink the wine from the spit bucket they all spit their wine in. And as it happens it was the birthday girl that got the lowest score.
So Lala had had to drink wine that had been in someone else’s mouth as well as a little bit of their spit yet she had been a good sport about it and had fun being with her friends. Though the Montauk trip hadn’t been as easy-going. The Stassi birthday trip had been to Montauk with her three closest friends and Scheana had soon begun to feel like the others were ostracizing her. Scheana had gotten yelled at for not drinking with everyone else, her friends still thought she had been traitor when she tried to make peace with Lala, and she would have preferred to have gone on Sonoma trip. So what had stopped her being on that trip with the others had been the fact that all the seats were allegedly filled. And so she too had gotten upset when she heard that Lala missed the trip.
Scheana had felt that Lala stole her spot and then made sure that she couldn’t go to Sonoma out of spite. But Stassi had felt like Scheana was being a wet blanket in Montauk. Scheana didn’t want to do shots with everyone else and she also didn’t want to go skinny-dipping with everyone else. Which they all thought was wrong because it was practically a tradition for Stassi’s birthday. So Scheana was bringing Stassi down and Stassi was the birthday girl however there were plenty of other things that were bothering Stassi. Stassi was still single meanwhile her friends were married, engaged, or in a pretty great relationship. And so Stassi tried to hunt for a connection in Montauk.
Stassi had gone out to the bar with her friends and she had hoped she would run into someone nice. However, the guys she met didn’t meet her criteria. She met a guy that was too old for her liking, then there was the guy that was too awkward to be around, and finally there was a great god that seemed to be more into Katie than anyone else. So Stassi was striking out in Montauk and the skinny-dipping at the end was supposed to get her spirits out yet the girls had fully thought out their plan. They thought they could just run off naked into the water and it turns out the lighthouse was pointed directly at them in the water.
So there had been some cheering and clapping for the naked girls that everyone could see from the bar though they had later thought it was funny and Stassi was laughing as she was freaking out. Yet, what made the girls feel a lot better was the way the other group in Sonoma were turning on Lala. The other group had gotten angry that they wasted money on Lala and they had thought she was a flake so even her best defenders weren’t getting tired of her lies. And Lisa was on the same page back home. Lisa had wanted to know where Lala was and had stooped into asking James about her whereabouts.
Though James didn’t know where Lala was. He said that she had gotten a text from her the night before saying that she was excited about going on the trip with the others, but he was also worried that Lala’s mysterious boyfriend might have put a stop to her trip. James had described Lala closing the blinds when he was at her place because she had been worried her boyfriend would see him from the street and he recalled the time that Lala had gotten freaked out when she thought someone knocking on her door while he was still there. So James had a feeling that Lala’s boyfriend was controlling and manipulative and he didn’t know what he could do.
James had never met the boyfriend and he felt like that was intentional. But he couldn’t go running after Lala because he was still trying to get sober and further his own career. So the Lala situation was this odd mystery that no one could figure out however Lisa had become concerned after listing to James. Lisa had felt that Lala with someone that didn’t deserve her and she wanted to help. And so while everyone else thought Lala’s disappearance was a joke, there seemed to be a reason for concern about where she was.
THE END!
