On tonight Bachelor in Paradise Season 5 Episode 8 as per the ABC synopsis, “A bachelorette is devastated when her man tells her he can’t give her the future that she deserves. Everyone is shocked when they discover that this couple that seemed so stable has split up and split for the States, separately. Later, things shake up yet again with the arrival of two women at the same time, leading to two more couples threatened when the new ladies take off on a double date with previously spoken-for guys.”

Angela is just devastated, she is blind and confused that Eric would go on a date with Cassandra. Angela is now questioning if anything Eric said to her was real.
Eric and Cassandra are on their date, she likes how open and honest he is. The two head-on horseback to a parade and are crowned king and queen. Eric starts to talk about Angela, he says she wants to take things slow and sometimes you need more than that. Cassandra feels like they have a real thing going on. Eric leans in for a few small kisses.
Tia speaks to Colton and tells him that Angela was caught off guard.
Colton talks to Kevin and tells him that his heart is not in it with Tia, he feels like he is forcing it – he knows what she deserves and knows this is not fair to her, its not right. Colton can’t sit around on the beach every day with Tia when he knows that there is not a future with her.
Colton asks Tia to sit down with him alone to talk. He tells her that he wanted it to work so bad, but it’s not there and she deserves someone who is going to be crazy about her every day. He goes on to say that he gave it his all, 100% and it didn’t work. Tia starts crying, she is devastated – Colton holds and comforts her. Colton says that he is leaving today, they hug one last time and Tia gets up to leave. Colton thinks Tia is incredible, but she is just not for him. Colton is also crying and heads to his room to pack. Colton is gone and Astrid comforts Tia.
Tia goes to see all the other women and tells them that she is leaving and Colton is already gone. Tia leaves.
Everyone left behind is shocked and many have their opinions on what happened, others are questioning their own relationships after Colton and Tia broke up, nobody can be sure of anything.
Jenna is down at the beach and crying, Jordan walks up and finds her. Jenna is upset about Tia because she planned their whole future together and now it is all gone. Jenna says that she is sad. Jordan tries to console her and tell her that he is not going anywhere.
Jordan thinks Paradise is falling apart. Angela confides in Astrid about the things that Eric told her. Angela keeps going from person to person and talking with Eric being on that date is driving her crazy. Cassandra and Eric are done their date and return to the group. Eric is not even acknowledging that Angela is there. Eric goes to grab a bite to eat with Cassandra.
Eric finally calls Angela to talk. Eric asks her where she is at, she says she is hurt, he hurt her feelings. All the things that he said, that they are all in, she felt blindsided. Eric says he woke up with a lot of question marks. Eric doesn’t feel like they are in a relationship, he feels that he is all in but she is not. Eric wants to explore his relationship with Cassandra. Both of their versions of all in were different.
Angela goes to speak to Cassandra to clear the air. Angela tells her that she and Eric established that they were all in, would not date anyone else and then he went on a date with her. Cassandra is not happy, she is confused and now sees a lot of red flags with Eric.
Cassandra goes to speak to Eric and tells him about her conversation with Angela. Cassandra says that he made a mistake by saying that he was not going to go on any other dates. Cassandra says that she would not want a guy to do what he did to Angela. She says he could have started things fresh with her and not it is tarnished, it feels icky and she is turned off by it. Cassandra is done.
Astrid tells Kevin that seeing Colton change his mind about Tia really hurt, when if he changes his mind about her, where will that leave them. Astrid asks him if she should be worried. Kevin agrees that the day was stressful for everyone, but he came to the realization that he is falling in love with her. Astrid tells him that she is falling for him too.
It’s a new day in Paradise, yesterday brought some couples closer together and Eric probably ruined two potential relationships. A new woman arrives in Paradise, her name is Shushanna and she is from Ben’s season. Shushanna and Cassandra know each other and Cassandra feels that the girls should be worried about their men. Another woman walks in, her name is Christen and she is from Nick’s season. A total of four girls came in this week, which means a total of four will be going home. Shushanna asks Kamil to go for a walk, Annaliese says she doesn’t mind. Kamil tells her that he is in the friendship zone with Annaliese and he is open. Shushanna admits that she stalked him on Instagram and she asks if he would go on a date, he says yes. Kamil goes to speak to Annaliese and tells her about the date, she appreciates that and tells him to have fun – he tells her not to feel down because he is still into her.
Christen talks with John, she says she wants him to go on a date with her but she doesn’t want him to feel pressured. Johns says yes, he would love to.
Annaliese tells the other women that she is not worried in the least about Kamil going on the date. Cassandra tells Annaliese not to limit herself, if a man comes in who she wants to go out with, she should go out with him too.
John and Kamil are ready to go on their double date with Shushanna and Christen.
Jordan hopes Kamil comes back to Annaliese for fear of what will happen to her if they break up.
Annaliese starts crying, meanwhile, Kamil. John and the two women are having a blast on a yacht. The foursome goes on a banana boat, they are having a blast. They stop on an island and Shushanna asks Kamil to go for a walk alone with him. Shushanna brings up Annaliese, she says she looked really emotional.
Chris H. arrives in Paradise and gathers everyone together. He announces that they are not done with the dates today, Chris H. decided to add a couple of new arrivals to decide the dates, it is Ashley and Jared, a Bachelor in Paradise legend – Ashley is Kevin’s ex-girlfriend. Ashley and Jared have the date card, the couples have to convince them to give it to them.
Ashley and Jared head down to the beach and Chris H. announces that the date card is not the real reason they are there.
Jared proposes toAshely on the beach, he gets down on one knee and gives her a ring. Ashley says yes, everyone is watching and there are tears in their eyes. Everyone raises a glass to love being found in Paradise and to Jared and Ashley.
Chris H. announces that there is still a date card to give out, a little later.
Kevin is in a weird funk, Ashley and he broke up and the day after she was with Jared.
Olivia finds the date card, it is for Kevin and he gets to choose someone to go on date with, he chooses Astrid and the two head out.
Kevin and Astrid have a private dinner together. Astrid tells him that she loves and he says that he loves her too.
Chelsea is worried about Annaliese, she thinks she may just have a full breakdown if Kamil sways towards the new girl.
Annaliese goes over to speak to Kamil and he says they have a lot to talk about. Kamil tells her that he is happy he went on the date, it was fun, but the connection was not there from the start. Annaliese and Kamil kiss and she is so happy. The two decide to spend the night together and go to bed.
Olivia prepared a little spread for her and John to enjoy when he returned from his date and he didn’t even mention Christen. Olvia feels like they took forward in their relationship. When John finishes speaking to Olivia he goes for a quick walk with Christen and kisses her.
Time for the cocktail party, Chris H. is there. He asks Annaliese how she is doing, she says great and tells Chris to bring on the challenges it is only going to make them all stronger. There is only a few hours for the women to make their connections, there are four women going home.
Cassandra is alone with Eric, she hasn’t given up on him and would just like to spend more time with him.
John is dancing with Christen on the beach when Olivia comes up and takes him away, one minute he is kissing one woman and the next, another.
Shushanna walks up to Kamil and Annaliese and asks him if they can go for a walk. Kamil tells her that he didn’t feel like there was a connection there with the two of them. He tells her that she is drop dead gorgeous but he just didn’t feel it.
Chris H. returns and tells everyone that Paradise is about giving them all the opportunity to meet that someone special. A new man is arriving, and he is going to have a rose to give out at tonight’s Rose Ceremony. Jordan is from New Zealand and he was on the Bachelor Winter Games.
Chelsea is desperate to find someone to give her a rose and makes a last-ditch try for Kamil. Annaliese is shocked because Chelsea is her closest friend in Paradise.
Chelsea then asks Annaliese to go talk, she tells her that she thinks Kamil wants more, he said that he hasn’t gotten a chance to meet other people, especially her.
Annaliese tells Chelsea off at the ceremony, she tells her she doesn’t understand why she has to poke the bear before the ceremony.
Chris H.is back, eight men and eleven women. It’s time, Kevin is up first and he chooses to give his rose to Astrid, Jordan to Jenna, Chris to Krystal, Joe to Kendall, Eric to Cassandra, Jordan from New Zealand to Shushanna, John to Olivia and Kamil to Annaliese.
Chelsea starts to have a panic attack over not getting a rose and Christen feels faint and just about passes out.
