Big Brother Recap 8/1/18: Season 20 Episode 16 "PoV and Ceremony"

Tonight on CBS Big Brother airs with an all-new Sunday, August 1, 2018, episode and we have your Big Brother recap below! On tonights Big Brother season 20 episode 16 as per the CBS synopsis, “Houseguests compete to win the Power of Veto. During the Veto meeting, the winner of the competition can keep nominations the same, or save someone from eviction for the week. Hosted by Julie Chen.”

Brett is Baleigh’s target, Rachel was just a good pawn and Baleigh doesn’t think there will be hard feelings. Meanwhile, Brett had a feeling that he was going up, so no surprise. Rachel is having a hard time, she is not dealing very well with being put up on the block. Kaycee tries to reassure Rachel.

Faysal and JC get into a disagreement, Faysal takes credit for JC not being put up on the block and JC is not impressed.

Tyler is happy he wasn’t nominated but still goes to see Bayleigh make sure that he is not going to be backdoored. Tyler tells her that he would love to play in the Veto if that was an option. Basically, Tyler is telling Baleigh anything she wants to hear but in the end, he wants to win the Veto to take Rachel off the block and protect his Level Six alliance.

JC goes to see Baleigh and talks about Faysal, Baleigh tells him that Faysal is getting on her nerves for taking credit for JC not being put up on the block.

Bayleigh goes and wakes up Faysal, she tells him that JC revealed that he told him that he was instrumental in JC not being put up on the block. Faysal denies everything, Baleigh says that it looks like he is ordering her around and is in control of the HoH.

Rachel goes to see Baleigh and tells her that she is upset because she feels like she signed Brett’s eviction notice because she said she was fine with being put up as a pawn. Bayleigh says that Brett is bad for everyone’s game and he is on the block because of himself. Rachel is starting to piss off Baleigh because she is worried about Brett.

Time to pick the Veto players. Bayleigh picks Sam. Rachel picks JC. Brett picks Tyler.

Time for the Veto competition. Players have to complete a giant puzzle of a city road and drive a photo of former houseguests through the city, the game is called Goober Driver. The competition is a lot harder than it looks, Bayleigh is first to play. Rachel finished with 30 minutes, Bayleigh with 14.24 minutes, Brett 10.59 minutes, JC with 30 minutes, Sam with 30 minutes and Tyler with 6.54 minutes. Tyler wins the PoV.

Tyler is really conflicted about what he is going to do. Tyler is going to use a little reverse psychology on Bayleigh, he tells her that Scottie is his closest friend in the house, hoping that she will shift the target to him.

Rachel calls Angela in the room and tells her that Tyler threw her name to Baleigh, that she should be the replacement nominee. Angela shares this with Kaycee, who doesn’t believe it. Both Angela and Kaycee think Rachel is full of crap. Kaycee speaks to Tyler and tells him that the rumor is that he is throwing Angela under the bus, he denies it. It looks like Rachel is sealing her fate, Tyler now is considering to take Brett off the block.

R Rachel tells Angela about Bayleigh’s nomination power app, Angela then runs to Tyler and tells him.

Time for the Veto meeting. Tyler chooses not to use the Veto on either Rachel or Brett. Rachel is crying, Brett thinks it sucks, but is going to fight to stay. Bayleigh is happy that Tyller didn’t use the Veto, meanwhile, Tyler didn’t use it because he knows about Bayleigh’s app and doesn’t want her coming after him next week.
