The opening number tonight featured the Blue Man Group. Tonight the 12 remaining couples will take on some Vegas inspired songs in Las Vegas night.

Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke – Foxtrot – “Why Don’t You Do Right?” by Peggy Lee

Judges Comments: Len: “First out, by and large, first class. Footwork could have been neater, but you will be back next week.” Bruno: “You two are almost too hot to trot, talk about sultry. You really managed to maintain slickness and elegance.” Carrie Ann: “Besides the sexiness, there was something so impressive with you. The way you seasoned your moves, all the pizazz, and beautiful lines.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 8, Bruno 9 = 26/30, total for both nights 52/60

Milo Manheim and Witney Carson – Tango – “Ashes” by Celine Dion

Judges Comments: Bruno: “You were on fire, it was like the flight of the Phoenix. So powerful, so focused, a powerful tango.” Carrie Ann: “I love my job. This is ridonculous. I love your range, at 17 years old to show this style and grace, you match lines, it was ridiculous.” Len: “It started off with Argentine Tango, which I really don’t mind, then you got into the proper ballroom tango. Your bottom is sticking out because you are dancing down. It was sharp, it was fast, it was clear.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 8, Bruno 9 = 26/30, total for both nights 52/60

Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev – Quickstep – “Luck Be a Lady” – Donny Osmond, performing live

Judges Comments: Carrie Ann: “I love the way you used the space tonight. You really, that first pass was fluid and elegant. Every time you feel great, we feel great.” Len: “It took a while to get going but once it did, I enjoyed it very much. Lovely movement on the floor, you filled up rhspace, it was perfect.” Bruno: “Lucky girl tonight, it looks like you enjoyed yourself. It was well played.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 7, Len 6, Bruno 6 = 19/30, total for both nights 37/60

Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten – Salsa – “Booty” by Jennifer Lopez featuring Iggy Azalea

Judges Comments: Len: “There was no playing safe. If this had been Vegas and you were playing poker, you went all in. No messing about, plenty of rhythm you were working your assets. I am not sure about the final lift, but you are a great dancer.” Bruno: “One thing is for sure, you definitely are bootylicious as they say. Don’t attempt those lifts at home. Cirque de Soleil meets Salsa, very nice.” Carrie Ann: “You were great, you light up the stage and it is refreshing to see. Try to keep your core tight and that is it because you have great lines.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 8, Len 8, Bruno 8 = 24/30, total for both nights 49/60

John Schneider and Emma Slater – Jive – “King Creole” by Elvis Presley

Judges Comments: Bruno: “Four Elvis, I thought it was so much fun but you lost a little bit of jive in translation.” Carrie Ann: “I don’t think it was as good as last night’s performance, but I think you did Elvis proud. Watch your arms.” Len: “Two totally different dances in two nights is an enormous challenge and you both have done a great job.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 7, Len 6, Bruno 7 = 20/30, total for both nights is 43/60

DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold – Quickstep – “Ladies Man” – Boyz II Men performing live

Judges Comments: Carrie Ann: “I could see that you were working hard. You just have to watch your shoulders, sometimes there are not as pretty as they could be.” Len: “I told you yesterday about your shoulders, and close your left hand. I liked the dance, you just have to perfect some things.” Bruno: “There were imperfections, but you have, you have such a dashing presence, star quality.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 8, Len 7, Bruno 8 = 23/30, total for both nights is 47/60

Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile and Jenna Johnson – Jazz – “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers

Judges Comments: Len: “It was a routine that held my interest, good job, well done.” Bruno: “It was a good jazz contemporary country mix. You still have to come out of your shell. Go for it, right or wrong, have the courage of your intentions.” Carrie Ann: “I loved watching you walk over after your number, you looked proud of what you did tonight. You were a little off tempo but you are extending. I saw improvement, you should own it.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 6, Len 6, Bruno 6 = 18/30, total for both nights is 35/60

Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe – Jive – “Heat Wave” by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas

Judges Comments: Bruno: “You do a pretty tasty jive. What I liked, this week you became alive and full of energy. Well done.” Carrie Ann: “What I love most is that you used every moment. Just be a bit careful with your musicality.” Len: “It could have been cleaner in places but it had high energy, fast and athletic. I thought it was right on time.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 8, Len 8, Bruno 8 = 24/30, total for both nights is 48/60

Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess – Quickstep – “That Old Black Magic” by Sammy Davis Jr.

Judges Comments: Carrie Ann: “You are very entertaining. I would love to ask you to turn it down just a bit. Don’t lose your joy though.” Len: “It really had the Las Vegas vibe, well done.” Bruno: “Be gentle with the lady, it works better. I liked the energy, but tone it down and refine.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 7, Len 6, Bruno 6 = 19/30, total for both nights 39/60

Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy – Paso Doblé – “Storm from KÀ” by Cirque du Soleil

Judges Comments: Len: “Well done. It was full of attack and spirit. It was just lacking finesse.” Bruno: “It was like the Game of Thrones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Vikings all thrown together, it is a miracle you managed to stay afloat.” Carrie Ann: “I disagree, I don’t think you threw away your shapes. I love that you kept up with four brilliant dancers.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 7, Len 6, Bruno 7 = 20/30, total for both nights 41/60

Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong – Cha Cha – “Circus” by Britney Spears

Judges Comments: Bruno: “You got me under your spell. It was mesmerizing and bewitching. There is a step you did, it was so on it. It was splendid.” Carrie Ann: “You have incredible musicality, you generate this heat and energy as the dance continues.” Len: “Its another knock out performance. You are terrific and I like looking at you. There is a lot of sameness in the dances, you have to get away from that, shock me.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 9, Len 8, Bruno 9 = 26/30, total for both nights 52/60

Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber – Samba – “Copacabana (At the Copa)” by Barry Manilow

Judges Comments: Carrie Ann: “You nailed it, girlfriend, you are so clean that you make it fun.” Len: “So many feathers, I’m surprised the ostrich is not an endangered species. That was a proper Samba.” Bruno: “You kept to the party move of the song, the feel of the dance. It was a party number, perfect 10 for a party night.” Judges Scores: Carrie Ann 8, Len 8, Bruno 8 = 24/30, the total for both nights 46/60
