Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) are in for some bumpy times ahead. The two just celebrated a special Christmas together after they found out that Charlotte DiMera was not Stefan DiMera’s (Tyler Christopher) baby, but Chad’s. They reunited as a family and felt hope for the future.
But if Chad thinks that Abigail is going to easily forgive and forget everything he’s done in the past few months, he’d better think again. Abigail’s feeling particularly bitter about not having an ally in Chad throughout the whole ordeal with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus).
Sure, she’s furious at Gabi for gaslighting her in the first place, but she’s equally furious with Chad for believing Gabi over herself.
According to Days spoilers, Abigail will really struggle with her feelings toward Chad in the coming days. Of course, Chad will be remorseful for believing that Abigail’s Dissociative Identity Disorder had returned rather than actually listening to Abigail when Abigail insisted that she was being set up.
And Chad will also feel terrible for separating Abigail from Charlotte and getting Stefan to commit Abigail to Bayview. Chad will probably work very hard to make it all up to Abigail and prove to her that he believes in her and trusts her.
But the big question now is whether Abigail will be able to trust in Chad again. From Abigail’s perspective, she’s been seriously betrayed by the one person who was supposed to love and look out for her above all else.
Her trust in Chad was shattered when he walked out on her while she was pregnant, and then again when he made a deal with Stefan to rip her away from Charlotte and have her committed.
Days spoilers say that Abigail won’t be willing to take Chad back right away. Rather, he’ll get an earful and she’ll really need to think about whether she wants to get back together with him after everything he’s done. It looks like the two of them will have a long road to getting back together.
