Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will face some struggles. As if this couple hadn’t been through enough, Steve is now being poisoned. To make matters worse, his best friend is to blame.
John (Drake Hogestyn) must have his reasons for targeting Steve, but it’s tough to think of any that would truly be acceptable. This is pretty low! Nevertheless, Steve will try to accept what he can’t change. He doesn’t know John’s pouring a lethal substance in his drinks, so he’ll believe his mysterious illness is just something he has to cope with. Steve won’t see any hope for his eyesight or his future.
Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Kayla won’t be as quick to throw in the towel. Despite some irreversible retinal deterioration, Kayla won’t think they should give up. She’ll be desperate to figure out a solution to Steve’s problems.
“Stayla” is one of the strongest couples on Days. This popular duo has faced some ups and downs in the past, but they’ve never stopped loving each other. Their commitment is noteworthy and admirable. When Steve suffers, Kayla suffers as well. She won’t rest until she gets to the bottom of all this.
Unfortunately, time will soon be running out. Next week, February 5-9, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve’s situation will become quite dire. The poison John’s using is working rapidly, so Steve’s vision won’t be the only thing to go. Steve could die if John’s plan goes much further.
Paul (Christopher Sean) will put his own life on the line to get some answers. Will (Chandler Massey) won’t stop digging for the truth either. Billie (Lisa Rinna) will also play a role in all of this. She’ll have a shocking link to the poisoning plot, so this storyline will affect many DOOL characters.
However, Kayla and Steve will remain at the heart of it all. Her devotion to Steve will prove helpful in the fight to save his life. Just how close will Steve get to death?
