Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) will be in for another shocker. He was blindsided by Bonnie (Judi Evans), who told him that they had slept together when he thought she was Adrienne (Judi Evans). Then he was totally floored when Bonnie claimed that she was the mother of his baby, and then Shelia (Tionne Watkins) came waltzing in with the baby in tow.
Of course, Bonnie has dropped this bomb on Lucas because she wants something. She’s in a world of legal trouble and desperately needs some help to get out of her jam. She’s hoping that Lucas will help her get out of jail so she can be reunited with her baby (also named Bonnie). And she’s warned Lucas that if she goes to jail, then the authorities will take her baby.
Poor Lucas is stunned by all of this, and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) has warned him to be cautious, as this could all be a ploy on Bonnie’s part just to get out of jail. Bonnie is the supreme purveyor of scams, and she’s always got an angle.
Naturally, Lucas will want a paternity test to be run, but what if the results come back and Lucas really is Baby Bonnie’s father? There are some good reasons to think that Bonnie could be telling the truth about all of this. First off, it was Bonnie who first floated the idea of a paternity test. Why would she offer such a test if the baby didn’t belong to Lucas?
Second, Days spoilers say that Lucas and Justin (Wally Kurth) will offer Bonnie a deal, so it looks like Lucas is going to ultimately offer Bonnie some legal assistance. Chances are, he wouldn’t do that if the paternity test reveals he’s not the daddy.
So, assuming that the paternity test comes back and Lucas is the father, then Bonnie will probably beat these charged she’s up against. But somehow this still feels like a scam. If the paternity test comes back and says that Lucas is the father, will you believe it?
