Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi (Camila Banus) will pull out all the stops in her effort to ruin Abigail’s (Marci Miller) life. She’s determined to make sure that Abigail pays for sending her to prison when Abigail was acting under the influence of her alters.
A part of Gabi understands that Abigail was mentally ill (and operating as “Dr. Laura”) when she testified against Gabi in Andre’s (Thaao Phenglis) murder trial. But Gabi has always believed that Dr Laura represented the part of Abigail that resented Gabi for getting together with Chad (Billy Flynn) when Abigail went missing. So, as far as Gabi’s concerned, Abigail’s actions were deliberate.
Perhaps this is why Gabi won’t mind toying with Abigail’s mental stability in her quest to get revenge on her. Days spoilers say that Gabi will work hard to make Abigail think that her alters are returning, with the goal being to eventually drive Abigail back into a sanitarium. That way, Abigail will lose custody of her baby once it’s born, and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) will get the baby.
It’s a devious scheme, but just how far is Gabi going to go to get Abigail committed again? Let’s face it, simply planting a black wig in Abigail’s bedroom probably isn’t going to do the trick. Who knows exactly what Gabi will have to do in order to de-integrate Abigail’s alters and make them appear again. It could get pretty extreme.
But what about Gabi’s own mental stability in all of this? She appears to be unnaturally preoccupied with revenge, and on Abigail in general. What if Gabi is the one that ultimately needs psychiatric care when this whole thing is over? It would seem appropriate.
We may just see Gabi unravel as she carries out her plot against Abigail. And if that’s the case, JJ (Casey Moss) may get tipped off as to what Gabi’s doing. He’s already a little suspicious of Gabi, and he’s seen firsthand her anger toward Abigail. But if Gabi’s obsession with revenge grows (as Days spoilers indicate that it will), then it will probably become harder for Gabi to hide.
