Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that things will continue to go downhill for Abigail (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn). The two have been estranged ever since Chad walked in on Stefan (Tyler Christopher) with his hand on Abigail’s stomach. Chad simply can’t stand the idea of Abigail having Stefan’s baby.
Of course, viewers know that Abigail is actually pregnant with Chad’s baby, but Gabi (Camilla Banus) switched the paternity test results so that everyone would think the baby was Stefan’s. The goal? Cause maximum damage to Abigail and Stefan, who Gabi blames for her incarceration, prison beat-down, and subsequent inability to have children.
Gabi’s even enlisted Kate (Lauren Koslow) to help her in her plot to break up “Chabby,” and she’s not beyond trying to get intimate with Chad. It seems that Gabi will do anything to drive a wedge between Chad and Abigail.
Gabi is certainly on the road to getting revenge, and it looks like she’s about to take it up a notch. Days spoilers say that Gabi will bring up the “divorce” word to Chad. This is pretty devious, especially since the plan was for Abigail and Chad to start marital counseling with Marlena (Deidre Hall). Gabi will have to play it very delicately, but it looks like she’s going to carefully suggest that Chad think about divorcing Abigail.
Gabi will probably play on Chad’s emotions, reminding him (as she always seems to do) that “Gabby” is a part of Abigail, and so that means that a part of Abigail actually wanted Stefan. If Gabi’s really devious, she might also point out that this means there’s still a part of Abigail that’s attracted to Stefan, no matter how much Abigail professes that she hates him.
Once Gabi plants the seed of divorce in Chad’s head, he probably won’t be able to stop thinking about it. After all, he’s truly horrified by the thought of co-raising a baby resulting from the Gabby/Stefan affair. The more he thinks about it, the better the idea of divorce may sound to him…or at least it may seem like the only tolerable option.
