Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi’s (Camila Banus) devious plans for Abigail (Marci Miller) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) will have serious ramifications. Gabi just couldn’t take it that Abigail and Chad (Billy Flynn) were back together and happy, and so she set a plan into motion that is sure to drive them apart…maybe permanently.
It all started when Gabi changed Abigail’s paternity test results so that it looked like Stefan was the baby’s father. Now, Gabi is working hard to drive a wedge between Abigail and Chad, to make sure that they don’t get back together. And Days spoilers say that she’s going to get even more extreme, by pressuring Chad to get a divorce and trying to convince Abigail that she’s mentally deteriorating again.
Abigail’s worked hard to integrate her alters into her personality, but Gabi will work hard to get Abigail to believe that they’re back in full form. The goal? Get Abigail committed again so that when her baby is born, custody is given to Stefan and Abigail is devastated. Then, when the time is right, Gabi plans to reveal that the baby is Chad’s, devastating Stefan.
But there’s something that Gabi’s not considering. If she messes with Abigail’s mental state too much, then Abigail’s alters might actually return. It doesn’t seem that Abigail has been getting ongoing therapy since returning to Salem, and with all the stress of carrying Stefan’s baby and being separated from Chad, she may actually be vulnerable to having her alters return!
If Abigail’s alters return, then Gabi could be in for a rude awakening. “Dr. Laura” is the ruthless alter who sent Gabi to prison in the first place, so she could pose a threat to Gabi if she returns. And if “Gabby” returns, then Stefan will be thrilled. He’s in love with Gabby and would be overjoyed to see her. That could interfere with Gabi’s plan to bring Stefan down.
And Stefan might actually like the idea of Abigail being committed if it meant he got to see Gabby on a regular basis. And he’d love the idea of raising the baby that he believes he and Gabby conceived. Sure, it wouldn’t be the ideal situation, but knowing Stefan he could make it work.
So, Gabi might want to think about whether her plan to drive Abigail back into the web of mental illness is such a good idea. In many ways, it could backfire on her.
