Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that all hell is about to break loose for Kate (Lauren Koslow). Kate does a lot of underhanded things, and most of the time she doesn’t get caught, but a blast from the past in Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will’s (Chandler Massey) life will bring Kate’s walls crashing down.
Leo (Greg Rikaart) is headed back to Days, and as shown in the new Days 2018-2019 promo, his appearance will utterly stun Will and Sonny. Of course, they thought that Sonny accidentally killed Leo several months ago, and that they simply lost the body. They haven’t given Leo’s “death” much thought lately, but that’s about to change.
Leo’s going to burst back on the scene, and this will have some serious ramifications for Will, Sonny, and Kate. Kate is the one who took over Vivian’s (Louise Sorel) plot to have Leo sue Sonny for sexual harassment to bring down Titan. The plan was perfect for Kate, who wanted to eventually become CEO of Titan. Unfortunately, that never materialized, and once Leo disappeared, Kate hoped that the matter was dropped for good.
But it looks like Leo, once he makes his big reveal to Will and Sonny, will fill them in on exactly who was behind the sexual harassment lawsuit. And then Kate’s going to find herself in hot water with her grandson, as well as Sonny. In the Days promo, Sonny tells off Kate and calls her a monster for what she did, while Will looks on disapprovingly.
Kate really won’t have any way to backpedal her way out of this mess, as it’s her word against Leo’s. And Will is probably going to be able to put the pieces together when he remembers that Kate had a brief affair with Ted (Gilles Marini), who was Leo’s lawyer. It may be a while before Will is able to forgive his grandmother for this one.
Hopefully, all of this means that Sonny will eventually be able to get his position back as CEO of Titan. But he’ll have to get the approval of Victor (John Aniston) and fill him in on Kate’s plot and relationship with Leo. We’ll see just how understanding Victor is.
