Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric (Greg Vaughan) will make a bold move next week. He’ll decide he’d like to make Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) his wife, so he’ll promptly pop the question. Eric feels safe and at home with Jen. He likes the ease of their romance, so he’ll think they might as well lock this down. Eric will assure Jennifer that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
By then, Jennifer will have a big secret to contemplate. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) will fill Jen in on the real reason Nicole (Arianne Zucker) left town. Jennifer will know the truth before Eric proposes, so she’ll definitely struggle. She won’t like the idea of hiding things from Eric, but she’ll also hate the idea of losing him.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jennifer will accept Eric’s offer of marriage, but she’ll continue to mull over her deception. This secret will eat away at her in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, an oblivious Eric will be on cloud nine. He’ll eventually spread the engagement news to his friends and family members.
It sounds like Eric will start with Marlena (Deidre Hall). She may think this seems a bit rushed, she’ll undoubtedly be happy for her son. Marlena knows Jennifer’s calm and devoted to Eric, so she can’t complain too much. Jen is certainly less trouble than Nicole used to be.
However, sometimes playing is safe isn’t the way to go. That can lead to an easier romance, but it can also bring a passion-free life. Eric loves Jennifer, but they don’t have that same fire that “Ericole” had. In fact, no one else has ever been able to bring the same intensity for Eric. Days fans know Nicole is his true love!
Nevertheless, DOOL spoilers say Jennifer will choose to be selfish. Who can really blame her when she’s got a great guy like Eric on her arm? Jennifer will hope for a long and happy marriage to Eric, but another threat’s about to emerge.
Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Brady (Eric Martsolf) will battle some strong guilt. He’ll start bonding with Eric again, which could put Jennifer’s future with him in jeopardy. Brady will be tempted to blab about blackmailing Nicole over Deimos’ (Vincent Irizarry) murder.
The only thing that can save Jen is Brady’s fear. Since he’ll be reconnecting with Eric, he may not want to blow it by dragging all this up. Of course, the soapy secret has to come out sooner or later. Jennifer seems destined to lose her man down the road!
