Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will finally move forward with her plan. She’s been wrestling with a big decision for quite some time. Jen knows why Nicole (Arianne Zucker) broke things off with Eric (Greg Vaughan) and abruptly left town. She’s worried that she could lose Eric if she comes clean, but she just can’t take the guilt anymore.
Jennifer tried to confess at the hospital, but Eric was much too focused on family drama. Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) health crisis was all he could think about. However, Jennifer will run out of excuses soon. During the week of September 24-28, Jennifer will realize she can’t keep running from the truth. She has to make an admission and hope her relationship survives this terrible blow.
Jennifer may tell herself that if they’re meant to be, they will be. She can’t let dishonesty be the reason they end up together. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jen will sit Eric down and reveal what she knows. She’ll admit that Nicole killed Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) and was blackmailed by Brady (Eric Martsolf). Eric will be outraged when he hears how Brady forced Nicole out of his life.
Naturally, Jennifer will face some backlash for keeping quiet. Eric will feel like Jennifer should’ve told him everything right away. He’ll definitely question their romance after this. Eric thought he could trust Jennifer completely, but he suddenly won’t trust her at all. Without that trust, it may be impossible for them to remain a couple.
Of course, Nicole will also be a factor here. Despite what Eric’s been claiming, DOOL fans know how he really felt about her. Nicole was and always will be the love of his life. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric will start a search for Nicole, so it sounds like he’ll be hoping for a reunion. That should leave Jennifer out in the cold.
Days spoilers state that Nicole’s upcoming return will be brief. She won’t stick around long enough to form a real relationship with Eric again. Her rejection may leave Eric bitter, so Jennifer should find herself heartbroken. She’ll have to carry on without him, but a former flame of her own will ultimately reenter the picture.
It sounds like Days has to drag Jennifer down to build her back up. She’ll reach this dark, vulnerable place before she gets some good news. Jack (Matthew Ashford) is headed back to the show for a long-term stint, so it seems he’s alive and well. It won’t be long until Jennifer’s reunited with her soul mate!
