Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some good news is on the way for Steve (Stephen Nichols). He’s been doing his best to get by ever since he lost his vision. Steve has adjusted, but he seems glum. It’s hard for him to think about never seeing his beautiful family again, but hope’s ahead!
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will make a shocking discovery during May sweeps. Days of Our Lives spoilers say she’ll learn about a cutting-edge procedure. This may be just what Steve needs! Kayla will realize there’s some type of new technology that could restore Steve’s sight, so she’ll definitely be intrigued.
Of course, Kayla will understand that there are no guarantees. The damage to Steve’s cornea was obviously severe, so Kayla may proceed with cautious optimism. She probably won’t want to get Steve’s hopes up until she knows more.
Days spoilers say Kayla will keep digging into this promising possibility. She’ll determine that Steve would be a good candidate for the procedure, but there’ll be a big problem. Kayla won’t be pleased when she hears about the company that owns this technology. She’ll realize securing Steve’s chance won’t be as easy as she thought.
Nevertheless, Kayla isn’t a quitter. That’s especially true when it’s something that affects her loved ones. Kayla would do anything to give Steve his vision back. He’s having a rough time, so she just wants to take his pain away. DOOL spoilers say Kayla will be willing to play dirty to make this happen. If she has to toss around some threats or move forward with a blackmail plot, then so be it.
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that some surprises are coming up. It’d be nice if John (Drake Hogestyn) could help Kayla out at some point. After all, it’s mostly his fault that Steve went blind. John should’ve found an alternative instead of following Pamela’s (Martha Hackett) orders, but what’s done is done. Kayla will just be focused on the future and what she can do to bring Steve out of the darkness.
