Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will be spooked by some of the entertainment at Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) bachelorette party. It’s hard to imagine the goings-on getting too wild at the party, but one novelty in particular will upset Kayla.
Days spoilers say that Kayla will be unnerved by her Tarot card reading. Of course, Tarot cards are intended to be in good fun, but Kayla’s reading may hit a little too close to home. Kayla’s been keeping some pretty heavy secrets from the people she loves, thanks to Stefan (Tyler Christopher).
When Kayla agreed to spy on Kate (Lauren Koslow) for Stefan in order to get the bionic eye technology for Steve (Stephen Nichols), she was in unethical territory. But now Stefan’s demanding that she divulge Abigail’s (Marci Miller) confidential medical records so he can keep up on her pregnancy.
That’s, of course, illegal, and Kayla is beside herself with worry about the situation. But if she doesn’t comply with Stefan’s demands, Stefan will render Steve’s eye blind, which he can apparently do with the push of a button.
And worst of all, Kayla is keeping all of this from Steve, who is completely in the dark that his bionic eye was provided courtesy of Stefan. Steve hates Stefan and wouldn’t have accepted the eye had he known Stefan owned the technology. Kayla’s afraid of what may happen if Steve finds out the truth.
Kayla’s tarot card reading will apparently foreshadow something ominous. Will she receive news that relationship trouble is on the way? Or perhaps she’ll get the “devil” card, indicating that someone sinister is about to do her harm. That could certainly correspond to Stefan, who seems hell-bent on causing problems for Kayla unless she complies with his every demand.
At any rate, Kayla’s reading will only feed her deepening concern over what she’s been doing at Stefan’s request. Most of all, she wants Steve to keep his eyesight, so chances are that she’ll keep on working with Stefan and keeping secrets from Steve.
But Steve’s onto Kayla, and he knows that she’s being evasive about something. He’s a good detective, so chances are he’ll figure out what Kayla’s been up to with Stefan. But then what? Will it anger Steve so much that he’ll walk out on Kayla? It’s certainly a sad possibility, given that Stephen Nichols has left Days.
