Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani (Sal Stowers) will struggle to deal with her latest blow. Her life is a mess thanks to what she blurted out in court. Lani didn’t want to lie on the stand, but her honesty came at a steep price. Once she admitted that she had sex with Eli (Lamon Archey), the clues came together for JJ (Casey Moss). Lani was forced to confess her baby’s true paternity.
Now Lani has lost JJ and she won’t have much hope of getting him back. This wasn’t some minor fib that could be overlooked. Lani was going to let JJ raise a child that wasn’t his. If it was up to her, she never would’ve come clean about this being Eli’s kid. The fact that Valerie (Vanessa Williams), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Eli all knew makes this even worse for JJ. He feels like he’s the last to know.
Next week, Days spoilers say Lani will sink even deeper into despair. Perhaps she’ll reach out to JJ and face a harsh rejection. Again, it’s tough to believe JJ’s getting over this anytime soon. Since this DOOL pairing has pretty much run its course, JJ and Lani may be through for good.
Gabi (Camila Banus) would be a fool to ever take Eli back after all his deception. That leaves him single and ready for a new pairing with Lani. Days of Our Lives laid the groundwork for this back when everyone was on Halo. Eli and Lani got awfully cozy thanks to a drug that brought out their true desires.
However, a lot has happened since then. It’ll take some time and hard work to overcome the obstacles. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli will try to offer Lani some comfort. Everything’s out in the open now, so Eli will think this makes things less complicated in some ways. He’ll know that Lani’s hurting, but he’ll remind her that this baby still has a dad. Eli will want to there for both of them.
Unfortunately, Lani’s pain will convince her to push Eli away. She’ll blame him for the mess she’s dealing with and she may not want to seal her fate with JJ entirely. Lani could argue that she can handle everything on her own.
Naturally, that’s not going to fly with Mama Valerie. She’ll insist that Eli needs to step up and fight for his rights as this kid’s father. This could lead to a custody battle down the road. Eli and Lani definitely have some conflict ahead of them.
On the bright side, these two seem destined to become a hot item eventually. Maybe they can come together at some point and be a united family. Are you rooting for Lani and Eli as a couple?
