Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sonny (Freddie Smith) is about to have a very bad day. Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) really got him in a bind and is threatening to go public with the evidence that Sonny and Will (Chandler Massey) tried to cover up his “murder” earlier this year. Leo’s got photographic proof of Sonny and Will rolling up Leo’s body in the Kiriakis rug, so it looks pretty bad.
Leo seems to be holding all the cards right now. He’s demanding a wedding to Sonny, or else everyone finds out what Sonny and Will did. Of course, that would be disastrous and would not only implicate Sonny and Will in a crime but would harm Titan as well. Plus, it would potentially rip Ari (Harper and Sydnee Udell) away from her dads. It just can’t happen.
So, Sonny will reluctantly agree to marry Leo. It will be a wedding to remember, with Leo decked out in a loud suit and Sheila (Tionne Watkins) officiating. It certainly won’t be a happy occasion for anyone but Leo. Justin (Wally Kurth) and Adrienne (Judi Evans) won’t approve, but they’ll have to go along with it for Sonny’s sake.
But the real drama will occur that evening, on Leo and Sonny’s wedding night. Sonny will probably just want to belt down a couple stiff drinks and forget that he’s now married to smarmy Leo, but his plan for a quiet evening will be thwarted when Leo shows up uninvited and crawls in bed with him!
Leo will have every intention of consummating their marriage, and he’ll figure that if he slinks into Sonny’s bed, it might happen. But Days spoilers indicate that Sonny will be having none of it. Sonny will tell Leo in no uncertain terms that he is off limits to Leo and that Leo must vacate his bed pronto.
Of course, to Sonny the marriage is simply a business deal: Leo gets to be his husband and live the good life in exchange for keeping quiet about the “murder” and subsequent coverup. But Leo probably wasn’t expecting Sonny to sleep with him anyway; he likely just wanted to stir the pot and make things rough for Sonny on his wedding night.
