Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some health news to pass on regarding a popular Days star. Linsey Godfrey, who portrays Sarah Horton on the NBC soap, is preparing for surgery tomorrow, December 20. Linsey revealed her scheduled surgery on her Twitter feed.
Linsey is quite active on Twitter and frequently shares about her life and what she’s doing. Regarding the surgery, she tweeted: “Oh what’s that Linsey you’re getting the metal taken out of your left leg tomorrow? Oh, better be careful with it then! Oh no? Let’s just run your shinbone so hard into the corner of the bed the you can barely walk on it before your surgery instead? Oh awesome great idea genius.”
You may remember that Linsey was the victim of a freak accident back in 2015. She was walking down the street and run over by a car after that car had been involved in an accident. Unfortunately, she broke both legs in the accident and was on the mend for several months.
It seems that Linsey is now having follow-up surgery to remove metal lodged in her leg as a result of the accident. It is likely a minor surgical procedure, but it seems from her tweet that she might have complicated matters a bit by running her shinbone into the bed.
