Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Mimi (Farah Fath) will soon be on her way back to Salem. Mimi’s been off-canvas since 2007, when she went off to live in Arizona with her younger brother Connor (Austin Wolff). What she’s been up to since leaving Salem is a mystery, but it looks like she may return to help her mother, Bonnie (Judi Evans), out of a jam.
Bonnie, a career con-artist who most recently swindled some Texans out of a land deal, is currently sitting in a Salem PD jail cell, broke and desperate for legal assistance. Days spoilers say that she’ll tell Lucas (Brian Dattilo) that she had his baby in order to get him to help her out of her legal jam.
Whether or not Bonnie really had Lucas’ child remains to be seen, but Bonnie will insist that it’s true, and she’ll even produce a daughter for Lucas to meet! But will the baby really belong to Lucas?
Maybe the more pressing question is whether the baby will really belong to Bonnie. At Bonnie’s age, the likelihood of her having a baby is technically possible, but slim. So, where will the baby come from?
Well, this brings us back to Mimi, who will be around this fall for a handful of episodes. Could the baby be hers? It would be just like Mimi to reluctantly help Bonnie by passing off her own baby as Bonnie’s. But that’s a scam that could only play out for so long. At some point, Mimi would want her baby back!
And at some point, Lucas will find out the truth about whether the baby is his or not. Surely, he’ll insist on a paternity test to make sure he’s the father. Assuming the baby’s really Mimi’s, Bonnie’s scam will be busted probably sooner rather than later. But all Bonnie really needs out of the deal is to get out of jail right now, so for her it will all probably work out just fine.
