Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Paul (Christopher Sean) will learn the truth about Will’s (Chandler Massey) feelings for Sonny (Freddie Smith). He recently overheard a suspicious conversation between them, but the exes managed to brush it off. Paul wants to believe he’s Will’s one and only, but deep down he has concerns. He knows the connection between Will and Sonny must be intense.
Paul wasn’t too keen on Will getting his memories back for this very reason. He assumed Will would recall his love for Sonny and end up dumping him. It turns out Paul was half right. Will’s feelings for Sonny indeed came rushing back, but he’s staying with Paul out of guilt and pity. He was all set to reunite with Sonny, but Paul’s paralyzing accident changed the game.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say things will change again once Paul finds out everything. He might do a little more eavesdropping or pick up on some other subtle clues. However, DOOL will opt for a lowkey revelation this time. There might be some initial conflict over Will’s deception, but Paul will be understanding for the most part. This will lead to an open, mature conversation between them.
It was never Will’s intention to hurt Paul. He truly grew to care about him in the months they spent together. Nevertheless, Sonny was Will’s first great love. They have a lengthy history and a special bond, so it’s tough for Paul to compete.
Will can’t help how he feels, so he’ll have to let Paul down gently. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Paul will appreciate Will’s honesty. He’ll probably wish Will would’ve come clean sooner, but he’ll get why he didn’t. It was a tricky situation since Paul was in such a vulnerable place.
Paul may concede that it would’ve been cruel to break up with him in the hospital. There was no need to kick the guy while he was down! Fortunately, Days spoilers say Paul will continue to adjust. He’s getting used to his wheelchair and the idea of being a little more limited in his activities. Paul will be strong enough to take the blow and move on with his life.
Thankfully, Days of Our Lives won’t let Paul leave on a low note. His exit’s coming up, but there’ll be a glimmer of hope on his way out. Paul’s mom will call and urge him to make a big move. He’ll take her up on the offer and leave for treatment in San Francisco. With any luck, maybe Paul’s legs will heal in time.
Plus, Paul will meet someone intriguing before his run wraps up. We’ll see a hint about what’s in store for him romantically offscreen. Perhaps Paul will hit it off with another patient or something along those lines.
