Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani (Sal Stowers) has another medical crisis headed her way. She’s endured several frightening ordeals thanks to her complicated pregnancy. Lani was diagnosed with placenta previa, which can lead to severe bleeding during before and during birth. This condition increases the risk of a premature baby and that’ll certainly be the case with Lani.
DOOL fans can expect Lani to go into early labor this summer. When she suddenly experiences painful contractions, Eli (Lamon Archey) will leap into action. He’ll want to do everything he can for Lani and their child. They’ll both realize this baby’s coming way too soon, so they’ll want to get to the hospital immediately. They have to give their son or daughter the best chance of survival.
Days spoilers say Eli will give Lani plenty of support. Abe (James Reynolds) will naturally be there to offer comfort, too. Of course, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will gather up any loved ones she can find. She’ll turn this crisis into an opportunity for everyone to come together and bond over the baby.
Lani will survive the delivery and it looks like her little one will as well – at least initially. However, this kid won’t be out of the woods yet. As a preemie, he or she will struggle to pull through. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli and Lani’s connection will grow as they worry. They’ll definitely fear the worst as the baby fights in the NICU.
There’s been some Days buzz about this baby dying, but it’s too early for official spoilers on that just yet. It would make an interesting storyline either way. If Lani and Eli’s child survives, we can watch them go through all their firsts as new parents. They could ultimately become a real couple and start a united family.
If the kid doesn’t make it, that’d be just as gripping. Eli and Lani could connect over the loss, so we’d get some great drama and a solid pairing out of it. Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say it won’t be long until danger hits for Lani and her baby. DOOL viewers should be on the edge of their seats as this plot heats up.
