Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will get herself into a real mess with Rafe (Galen Gering), and it will all be brought on by Ted (Gilles Marini), who is about to return to Salem. Viewers haven’t seen Ted since Stefan’s (Tyler Christopher) goons intercepted him at Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) request.
It’s been unclear exactly where Ted’s been kept since Stefan got hold of him, but it looks like’s he’s going to make a big escape and head back to Salem. According to Days spoilers, Ted will make a beeline for the Salem PD, where he’ll beg Hope to privately hide him from Stefan, rather than handling his kidnapping as an official police matter.
And Hope will agree, on one condition. She’ll want some information from Ted in exchange for hiding him from Stefan. It looks like Hope will figure that she can get inside information on Stefan from Ted, as well as information on Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), since Ted was Ben’s lawyer.
So, Hope will secretly hide Ted out rather than up and charging Stefan with kidnapping. That means that she’ll be keeping her deal secret from Rafe, too. But since Rafe’s pretty perceptive, he’ll soon figure out that something’s awry.
In the new DOOL 2018-2019 promo, Rafe is shown following Hope to a hotel room, so it looks like Rafe will be suspicious of what Hope’s up to. And will he get a surprise! The promo shows Rafe finding a towel-clad Ted with Hope, and Ted telling Rafe that since he cheated on Hope, Hope’s now cheating on him!
Of course, it will almost certainly be a big misunderstanding caused by Ted running his mouth, but there will be some tense moments there, and Ted will be on the receiving end of Rafe’s right hook.
