Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a big return is in the works. Alison Sweeney is coming back as Sami! DOOL fans know that Sami’s a pretty polarizing character. Whether you love her or hate her, she certainly stirs up plenty of drama. That’s usually a good thing, right?
You can bet that Sami will bring chaos to Days during her next stint. In fact, Salem’s still dealing with the fallout of her last one! Rafe (Galen Gering) hooked up with Sami right after splitting from Hope (Kristian Alfonso). He regretted it when Hope wanted to reunite soon after.
Rafe and Sami tried to brush the whole thing under the rug, but Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) had other plans. She blew up Hope and Rafe’s wedding, but there’s still hope for this couple. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Shawn (Brandon Beemer) will push Hope to hear her ex out. He’ll think Hope should listen and maybe even accept Rafe’s apology.
Hope may give Rafe another chance, but what happens once Sami comes back on the scene? Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that trouble could hit once again. A new issue of Soap Opera Digest reveals that Sami’s been filming again and will air later this year. It sounds like she’ll return for some November sweeps mayhem.
Of course, we can’t ignore the timing here. September would mark around nine months after Sami and Rafe’s sex session. Will Sami come back with a baby in her arms?! If she waltzes in with the tot toward the end of that month or even into November, that’d provide a little recovery time. Can DOOL really pass up the opportunity for a shocker like this?
Rafe and Hope have addressed the kid situation before. It’s clear that Rafe would like to be a dad, but Hope isn’t on board for more diapers and midnight feedings. Rafe might be drawn to the idea of being a family with Sami. This could throw his relationship with Hope into turmoil.
However, Sweeney’s a busy woman and won’t be sticking around forever. This will just be a visit, so maybe she’ll be in Salem for a couple months like last time. That could mean that Days will skip the baby storyline, but not necessarily.
Rafe could eventually let Sami continue her travels and just try to see the kid whenever possible. That’s how things are for Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Allie. It’s not the ideal solution, but at least it’d make it easier for Rafe to continue his romance with Hope.
