Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) are in for quite a surprise when they return to Salem. The duo will return to attend Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John’s (Drake Hogestyn) wedding, and when they do they’ll be reunited with their daughter Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). A lot has changed in Claire’s life since she last saw her parents.
For starters, Claire is no longer dating Theo (Kyler Pettis) and now she’s into Tripp (Lucas Adams), who doesn’t reciprocate feelings toward her. But Claire’s love life will be the least of her parents’ concerns when they learn about Claire’s living situation.
Shawn and Belle are going to learn that Claire is roomies with none other than Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), the necktie killer! Days spoilers say that Shawn in particular will be horrified by this revelation, as he knows just how dangerous Ben was in the past.
Just as Hope (Kristian Alfonso) fears for Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) safety where Ben is concerned, Shawn will fear for Claire’s safety. Claire will certainly get an earful from Shawn, who may even demand that Claire move out of the loft pronto.
Of course, whether Clare tells her parents the truth about how she and Ben have come to live under the same roof remains to be seen. Claire’s decision to vote in favor of Ben’s moving into the loft will be motivated entirely by her desire for Tripp. She figures that if she helps push Ben and Ciara together, that will leave Tripp free for her. It’s just another one of Claire’s schemes.
Maybe Claire will open up to her mother about her unrequited longing for Tripp and her motivation for letting Ben move into the loft. Belle could give Claire some much-needed motherly advice about the situation. Claire could really use her parents right now – not so much for protection from Ben, as he seems to be truly reformed, but for dealing with relationships and life in general.
