Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Sonny (Freddie Smith) will up his game when it comes to combating Leo (Greg Rikaart) and his sexual harassment allegations. Kate (Lauren Koslow) orchestrated Leo’s bogus harassment lawsuit against Sonny, and Leo planted suggestive texts on Sonny’s phone and digitally recorded he and Sonny having sex in the office. It looks pretty bad for Sonny.
But Sonny’s a fighter and he wants desperately to expose Leo’s lies. Sonny asked Will (Chandler Massey) to help him fight the allegations in the press. Will’s writing an article for the Spectator explaining Sonny’s side of the situation and detailing how Leo set him up. Sonny’s also got Paul (Christopher Sean) on the case, digging into Leo’s background. Leo’s pretty sneaky, and he could have a history of conning other people that Sonny could use as evidence to bolster his case.
But it looks like Sonny won’t stop there. Days spoilers say that Sonny will attempt to set Leo up in some fashion. What will Sonny do? Perhaps Paul will uncover some dirt on Leo, and Sonny will try to blackmail him into dropping the lawsuit. Or Sonny could go the sneaky route and plant a recording device on Leo to listen in on his conversations with his lawyer Ted (Gilles Marini).
Whatever Sonny does to set up Leo, it looks like he’ll run into a roadblock. Days spoilers say that Leo will learn what Sonny is up to, so Sonny will be busted and Leo will continue to have the upper hand. And it could get worse. Leo could use Sonny’s actions against him in court by arguing (falsely) that Sonny’s continuing to harass him and trying to assassinate his character in retaliation for filing the lawsuit.
Sonny just can’t seem to get a break! Hopefully, Paul will keep digging. Kate and Leo seem to be fond of meeting in public places, so maybe Paul will spy the two of them together and figure out what they’re up to. But even if Paul figures out the connection between Kate and Leo, it might not be enough to put a stop to the lawsuit at this point. Leo’s evidence looks pretty solid and may be quite convincing to a jury.
