Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Stefan (Tyler Christopher) will run into some trouble with Abigail (Marci Miller). When Abigail first appeared in Stefan’s room and claimed to be Gabi (Camila Banus), he was beyond confused. Stefan tried calling Abigail by her real name, but she only grew agitated.
Now that Stefan’s been reading up on dissociative identity disorder, he knows that’s not the ideal approach. Stefan won’t want to do anything that might make things worse for Abigail. It’s not a good idea to provoke someone during an episode like this. As we’ve seen, Abigail can be quite violent as “Gabby.”
Unfortunately, Abigail will put Stefan in a tight spot next week. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefan will be forced to take drastic action. Perhaps Abigail will have another explosive outburst or threaten to hand Stefan over to the cops.
If Abigail approaches the police as “Gabby,” things aren’t going to turn out well for her. That’s why Stefan will try getting through to Abigail. Days spoilers state that Stefan will do his best to explain the situation. He’ll urge Abigail to accept her true identity, but this plan may not have the desired outcome.
It’s possible that Abigail will snap out of “Gabby” mode in that moment, but she can’t break free from this entirely. Abigail obviously isn’t choosing to suffer from dissociative identity disorder. It’s the result of all the trauma she’s faced, particularly from Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).
If Abigail’s going to get better, she’ll need medication and therapy. Of course, Stefan can’t get Abigail help without outing her as the killer or at least bringing suspicion on himself. What’s he supposed to do? Stefan will just have to deal with all this DOOL drama for a while.
Stefan’s confrontation with “Gabby” could leave Abigail’s mind in a weird place. The stress could really get to her. That may be what prompts the appearance of Abigail’s next alter. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will indeed believe she’s another kooky character soon.
Will Abby take on the personality of someone else she knows? Could it be a brand-new character instead? Regardless, this storyline is headed in a very entertaining direction!
