Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the complaints about Stefan (Tyler Christopher) are rolling in. Stefan started off strong with Days fans, but his support is slowly dwindling. Despite Christopher’s popularity, people are feeling pretty outraged with his character right now. Stefan’s behavior is certainly a hot topic.
Abigail (Marci Miller) murdered Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and suffers from dissociative identity disorder. She’s constantly trading places with her alters, “Gabby” and “Dr. Laura.” Abigail also tried to attack Vivian (Louise Sorel) during one of her episodes. It’s clear that she needs serious help!
Instead of calling a professional, Stefan’s been sneaking around on trips with “Gabby” and framing the real Gabi (Camila Banus) for a crime she didn’t commit. Naturally, the issue of consent has come up on social media. Stefan is clearly taking advantage of Abigail.
Since Abigail has no idea what she does as “Gabby,” Stefan is exploiting that weakness and stealing all those kisses. If they take things to the next level at some point, it’ll be rape. Abigail can’t agree to sleep with Stefan in this mental state.
Days may avoid crossing that line, but Stefan is still pretty despicable for even taking it this far. Now that we’ve assessed the situation, let’s compare Stefan to EJ (James Scott). They’ve both been DiMera bad boys at different points in time.
EJ did a lot of horrible things over the years as well. For example, he had a steamy affair with Abigail and hurt Sami (Alison Sweeney) deeply. However, the “EJabby” hookups were completely consensual. Abigail found EJ irresistible and was just as guilty in the whole DOOL mess.
Stefan still has time to redeem himself a bit and earn more fans, but he doesn’t seem as beloved as EJ was. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami’s coming back down the road, so an EJ recast may be looming. It would be interesting to watch Stefan and EJ face off. A fierce brother battle could shake things up in Salem.
