Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a familiar face will be back on canvas in the coming months. Soap Opera Digest has reported that Thaao Penghlis, who portrays Andre DiMera on the NBC soap, is back on the Days set filming.
Thaao is active on Twitter and recently posted a photo of himself with fellow Days vet Deidre Hall (Marlena). “Loved being with Deidre Hall this week,” his message read. “Vets make a difference in case some people have forgotten. We built a great foundation on Days that was years in the making. Walk through the door and speak truth. Next. #days @deidrehall thank you.”
No word yet on how long Andre will be back on canvas or the circumstances surrounding his return. Andre was killed off earlier this year but has made an occasional appearance here and there in Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) dreams. Will Andre appear as another ghostly vision?
Or will Andre be resurrected from the dead and be on screen in a more permanent capacity? Sure, he seemed pretty dead after Abigail (Marci Miller) hit him upside the head with Tony’s (Thaao Penghlis) urn, but that doesn’t mean much on Days. Andre could have been secretly injected with Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) serum and come back to life.
At any rate, Days fans will have to wait a while to see Andre back in action. Days tapes about six months in advance, so it will be a while before we know whether Andre will appear as another of Kate’s visions or as the real deal.
