Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, January 16, tease that Abe (James Reynolds) will worry about Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) upcoming move to South Africa. He knows this is going to be rough on his son, so he hates to send him over there alone. Abe will wonder if maybe he should go with Theo. He’ll think it might help Theo cope if his father was nearby.
DOOL fans can expect some touching moments when Abe fills Valerie (Vanessa Williams) in. He’ll reveal that he’s considering leaving Salem. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Valerie will be surprised by the news. She’ll hate the idea of Abe walking out of her life, but she won’t stand in his way. Valerie will get that Abe has to put his kid first.
However, Valerie’s distraught reaction could help Abe make his choice. He may sense that he’d be throwing away their future together. Plus, Theo might decide this is something he has to do on his own. He’ll try to be strong as he faces this difficult situation. It looks like Abe will be back after getting Theo settled in his program.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani (Sal Stowers) will battle more guilt. As JJ’s (Casey Moss) excitement grows, Lani will have a hard time staying in control of her emotions. She’ll feel terrible about her deception, but she won’t think there’s anything else she can do. JJ finally climbed out of the dark place he was in. Lani certainly doesn’t want to plunge him back into the darkness.
Meanwhile, Abigail (Marci Miller) will hurl accusations at Stefan (Tyler Christopher). Days spoilers say she’ll feel like Stefan is intentionally harming her relationship with Chad (Billy Flynn). Abigail will confront Stefan about this marriage sabotage. He’ll probably deny any wrongdoing, but Abby will remain irritated at the newest member of the DiMera family.
Across town, Gabi (Camila Banus) will discover some jewelry by Eli’s (Lamon Archey) bed. She’ll eventually realize it’s Lani’s, so she’ll have some questions. Gabi will ask Eli to explain how Lani’s earring ended up in his room.
When he claims Lani dropped it during a chat, Gabi will accept that explanation. She’ll promise she trusts Eli, so he’s sure to struggle with his lies.
