Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, January 9, tease that Lani (Sal Stowers) is in for a real shock. At the hospital, Lani will get light-headed by Theo’s (Kyler Pettis) bedside. She’ll nearly faint, so Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will take her into another room for a few tests.
Once Kayla returns, she’ll deliver some life-changing news. Lani will be stunned when she finds out she’s pregnant. She’ll instantly realize this kid should be Eli’s (Lamon Archey). Once Lani discovers how far along she is, her worst fears should be confirmed.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will be completely overwhelmed by this huge baby bombshell. She’ll mull over the situation and try to figure out her next move. Meanwhile, JJ (Casey Moss) will face a startling blow of his own. He’ll learn that Theo has to leave for a special program in South Africa.
JJ will hate the fact that Theo has to go away for a year. He’ll know how painful that’s going to be for Theo and his loved ones. Plus, there’s no guarantee this clinical trial will work. Kayla has high hopes, but JJ will worry that the treatment will fail. He’ll struggle to bounce back once he receives updates.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will get an enticing offer. Dr. Shah (Andre Khabbazi) will make his move with Jen when he asks her out on a date. Jennifer wants a future with Eric (Greg Vaughan), but she doesn’t think that’s an option. She’ll decide to take what the can get and accept Dr. Shah’s tempting invitation.
Across town, Days spoilers state that Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) will get an apology from Will (Chandler Massey). He’ll be sorry about hurting Sonny (Freddie Smith) and causing a mansion disruption. Will moved in briefly, but he’ll have to stay elsewhere now. He broke Sonny’s heart in hopes of finding himself.
Will can’t recapture the past until he explores the present. He’ll undoubtedly end up back with Sonny down the road, but he’s got a long DOOL journey ahead of him. In the meantime, Days spoilers say Steve (Stephen Nichols) will battle severe dizziness. His vision will blur as the room seems to spin.
