Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, June 19, tease that Lani (Sal Stowers) will hope for the best and prepare for the worst. She’s about to undergo an emergency C-section, but she’s just six months along. It’s too soon to deliver this baby, so she’s naturally worried about the outcome.
Lani wasn’t thrilled when she first found out she was pregnant, but now she truly cares about her son or daughter. She wants the chance to love and raise this little one with Eli (Lamon Archey). Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will try to give Lani that opportunity, but she’ll have concerns as well. There are plenty of risks with premature labor, especially when placenta previa is involved.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say we’ll see some scary moments during surgery. Kayla will struggle to keep Lani alive on the operating table. She’ll push Lani to stay with her as she attempts to control the bleeding. Meanwhile, Lani will have a rosy fantasy. She’ll imagine the perfect life she’d like to have with this kid.
Unfortunately, Lani’s sweet dream will turn into a total nightmare later this week. The baby won’t pull through, so Lani will have to find a way to deal with that. Until then, Abe (James Reynolds) and Eli will fret in the waiting area. DOOL spoilers say they’ll bond in their fear, so expect a heartfelt conversation and maybe even a warm embrace.
Elsewhere, a special dinner will bring four Salemites together. Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will all sit down for some food and fun. Days of Our Lives spoilers say they’ll have a great time, but it looks like their evening will be cut short. Since they’ll most likely be at Doug’s Place, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) may give them the news about Lani.
Once everyone’s in the loop, Lani will get some extra support at the hospital. She’ll have a big crowd to pray and wait for word on her condition. Alas, they won’t get the updates they were hoping for. Days fans can expect some tears and sad stares soon enough.
