Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will grow increasingly desperate. They’re being kept apart thanks to Sonny’s marriage to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Leo blackmailed his way into this union and now he’s loving every minute of it. Every day is a party for Leo, so Sonny and Will need a way to stop all his fun.
Unfortunately, coming up with a decent strategy will prove difficult. Will and Sonny could go down for attempted murder if Leo takes those incriminating pics to the cops. Leo’s holding all the cards, so they’ll worry about what the future holds.
Sonny and Will can’t bear the thought of never being together again, but they also feel like destroying Leo’s scheme is impossible.
Of course, Days fans know nothing is impossible on a soap! If Will can come back from the dead years later, Leo can surely be brought down. Sonny and Will just have to dig deeper. Their hearts are being affected by all this, so they need to hit Leo right in the heart, too.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say they’ll come up with a new tactic to do that. Next week, December 31-January 4, Will and Sonny will discover that Leo may have a significant weakness.
There’s a good chance this weakness is his mother. Judith Chapman has joined the cast of DOOL and will debut in the role of Diana Cooper eventually.
Viewers will recall that Leo’s real name is Matthew Cooper, but he put his past behind him to live the life of a con. Is that because of some feud with his mom or is he secretly still a mama’s boy?
It’s possible Diana is as sneaky as her son. In that case, she might approve of Leo’s antics. Then again, Diana might disagree with the path Leo’s chosen.
She may have lost touch with him, which might be where Will and Sonny come in. They could seek out Diana and set up a Cooper family reunion. Sonny and Will might hope pushy Diana can steer Leo away from the mess he’s created.
If that doesn’t work, they could dig up dirt and threaten Diana in some way. That might be another strategy to make Leo cooperate. Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo’s upper hand will turn into an exploited weak spot soon enough.
