General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could awaken with some regrets. She was quite distraught after losing the election to Ned (Wally Kurth). Alexis stepped up after Laura (Genie Francis) dropped out of the race, but she was mostly just taking one for the team at first.
Standing against the Charles Street development was important to Alexis and the whole community. She had to give Ned a good dose of competition. However, Alexis admitted that she really wanted to win in the end. She didn’t realize how much it meant to her until the job was slipping through her fingers.
Nevertheless, Ned came out on top and that sent Alexis to bed with someone for comfort. General Hospital spoilers say Finn (Michael Easton) was the one Alexis got busy with last night. Alexis may wonder if that was the right call when she wakes up. She enjoys spending time with Finn, but many GH viewers just aren’t seeing the spark.
It’s been nice to watch this friendship grow, but romantic chemistry is a different story entirely. Do Finn and Alexis really have the potential to be a successful, long-term pairing? We’d say no. This is probably just a plot point to push Finn back in Anna’s (Finola Hughes) direction.
As for Alexis, we all know her heart will forever belong to Julian (William deVry). Likewise, Julian’s wasting his time with Kim (Tamara Braun). There’s arguably some “Kilian” chemistry, but it’s no match for all that “Julexis” sexiness.
Nevertheless, General Hospital fans know this is all part of the process. Love is a journey and it often takes time. Julian caused some serious issues, so he deserves to suffer for a while anyway. He needs to work on himself so he can be a better man when the “Julexis” reunion inevitably comes.
In the meantime, Alexis may find herself feeling overwhelmed by her encounter with Finn. When she kicked off election night, that’s certainly not how she imagined wrapping it up!
Alexis might spend the morning trying to figure out what’s next. She may think she needs a way to let Finn down gently. It’s obvious that he still has deep feelings for Anna. Of course, Anna’s pining for Finn as well. His hookup with Alexis could cause a setback, but Anna and Finn probably aren’t done with each other yet.
