General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava’s (Maura West) love life will continue to face ups and downs. She’s on the right path now, but that doesn’t mean she’ll stay on it. Griffin (Matt Cohen) sees the good in Ava, but she’s always going to have a dark side. Ava will work hard to keep Griffin by her side, but soap romances rarely last forever.
What happens once Griffin and Ava inevitably fall apart? Maura West has some ideas! In a recent Twitter chat, West was asked which costar she’d like to be paired with other than Matt Cohen. She quickly revealed that she’d pick Steve Burton (Jason). That sounds like a recipe for great drama! GH fans might need to get ready for ‘JaVa!’
Ava was a big help to Jason when he was stuck at that clinic in Russia. Without Ava’s assistance, Jason probably wouldn’t have made it home. He was incredibly grateful and they were on the verge of a friendship when he returned to Port Charles.
Naturally, Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) nipped that in the bud. They filled Ava in on Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) med swap, so Jason immediately turned against his new pal. He suggested that the formula he handed over made them even.
Ava’s on Jason’s list of enemies now, but there might be some sexual tension bubbling under the surface. Perhaps GH will capitalize on their clinic connection down the road. Jason’s bound to be heartbroken after Sam (Kelly Monaco) marries Drew (Billy Miller) next week. That could lay the groundwork for someone new in Jason’s life.
Meanwhile, Ava could get back to scheming. If she does something to cross Griffin, Ava may get dumped. Griffin and Ava could at least take a break to reassess their future together. If Jason and Ava both end up in severe pain, they might indulge in a hookup. Sorrow can make strange bedfellows on General Hospital.
That could be a juicy secret for these two to keep. Can you imagine Carly’s reaction once the truth came out? She would obviously blow her top! Whether it turned into anything serious or not, it’d be fun for GH to explore “Java.” Jason and Ava might be smoking hot together. The fallout would certainly be delicious.
