General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the ABC soap could have some crazy twists headed our way. They’ve established that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is crazy and capable of anything. There’s no limit to how low she’ll stoop to get what she wants.
Nelle’s the kind of gal who always has a few tricks up her sleeve. Everything worked out a little too neat and tidy with all the paternity drama. GH fans were stunned when Nelle actually seemed to be telling the truth for once. The DNA results listed Michael (Chad Duell) as the father, but is he really?
General Hospital may have used a bit of deception as part of a larger plot. Since a scene recently showed us Nelle and Brad’s (Parry Shen) friendship, there’s a good chance he’ll be tied to her storyline. In fact, he could be involved in more ways than one.
What if Nelle and Brad cooked up a sneaky strategy? Let’s say Brad agreed to change the paternity results to make Michael look like the father. In return, Nelle may have promised to let Brad and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) adopt this kid.
In her twisted mind, Nelle might think she can still win Michael over without a baby. She’s not really mother material anyway, so maybe Nelle wants to hand the tot off. Perhaps Nelle was inseminated with a donor’s sperm just to trap Michael. Her plan might be to let Michael get attached to the idea of having a child with her.
If their baby suddenly “dies” after the birth, Nelle may think they can comfort each other. She might believe this is solid way to Michael’s heart. Of course, Nelle probably thought she’d be closer to a reunion by now. As time goes on, Nelle may rethink her plot and threaten her alliance with Brad. If she tries to go back on her word, Brad might threaten to spill the beans.
GH fans will recall that Brad had a conversation with Carly (Laura Wright) about the anonymous birth mother. That may have just been a way to throw Carly (and viewers) off track. It seemed significant that Carly had that chat with Brad. Everything Carly’s involved in right now tends to trace back to Nelle, so duping her is a definite possibility.
However, it’s also possible that Nelle’s carrying out this part of the plan without Brad’s knowledge. He may have no idea that she’s the anonymous mom. In that case, things could get pretty messy. Someone will have to make that connection sooner or later and it could lead to a world of trouble for Nelle.
