General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will need another change of plans. GH viewers know Nelle can be awfully sneaky, so she’s tried several strategies to wiggle out of prison. Before Nelle’s court date, she opted for the “hormones made me do it” approach. Nelle wanted Kim (Tamara Braun) to vouch for her and argue it was a simple case of pregnancy brain.
That didn’t work, so Nelle scored a transfer to Ferncliff. She thought that’d be a cushier place to hang out than Pentonville, but Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) derailed that plot, too. A staff member insisted Nelle would be sent back to prison since she’s not crazy – at least not in the way she wanted everyone to believe.
That means Nelle’s probably back behind bars by now. What will the blonde schemer do about that? She certainly won’t just sulk and accept her fate! Nelle isn’t a quitter, so she’s most likely plotting her next move right this second. She needs one that will accomplish two goals: getting out of the slammer and achieving revenge.
Of course, one out of two isn’t bad. Even if Nelle can’t get the freedom she’s craving, she’s always in the mood to wreak more havoc. Nelle’s sitting on the secret of a lifetime. With just a sentence or two, she has the power to rock two families to the core and cause major Port Charles destruction.
Nelle wanted to keep her kid away from the Corinthos clan. She actually likes Brad (Parry Shen), so she’d much rather see Jonah raised as “Wiley.” However, that could change if Brad doesn’t cooperate. Despite the Ferncliff staff member’s claims, Nelle seems pretty darn crazy to us. She’s not at the level of rocking a fake baby in a corner, but she can be delusional about what she deserves.
The longer Nelle sits behind bars, the more she’ll want out of there. Desperation could drive Nelle to her breaking point, especially since her Ferncliff plan failed. General Hospital spoilers say she may feel like she’s out of options. If Nelle summons Brad and thinks he should be able to secure her freedom, it could lead to trouble.
Brad may protest there’s nothing he can do, but would Nelle be able to wrap her head around that in her fractured mental state? She may think Brad has connections with a guy like Julian (William deVry) in his life anyway. When Brad can’t deliver what Nelle wants, she might decide to blow up his life just for kicks. It’d be fitting for Nelle to alienate her only remaining friend. That’s definitely her style!
