General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the baby drama will heat up for Nelle (Chloe Lanier) in the coming weeks. Michael (Chad Duell) still wants a paternity test to be on the safe side, but he believes this is his baby. Nelle swears she didn’t sleep with anyone else, so she argues that it has to be Michael’s kid.
However, we can’t really take Nelle’s word for it. She’s lied more times than any of us can count. Nelle’s the kind of gal who fibs now and figures the rest out later. She just tries to find a way out of her messes as problems arise.
It’s possible that a big problem is indeed looming for Nelle. If this isn’t Michael’s baby and she fails to manipulate the test results, Nelle may have to go with a backup plan. She knows Michael is an easy target. He’s proven that over and over again. Nelle might’ve been hoping she could pass this child off as Michael’s, but what happens if she can’t dupe him?
Perhaps Nelle will drop a bomb and try to get cash through a different Quartermaine. Could Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) be the true father of Nelle’s baby? It’d would certainly be an interesting twist. When they were in Morocco, Dillon and Nelle seemed to hit it off as friends. Back in Port Charles, they bonded once more as they discussed their dating woes.

Remember that Michael was constantly digging into Nelle’s past and Kiki was studying nonstop. Dillon was also battling some jealousy issues over Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva). Maybe Dillon and Nelle had a one-night stand to cope with their pain.
If so, that would explain why Dillon’s avoiding Kiki (Haley Erin). He may be ashamed of what he’s done. Things could get ever worse for Dillon if he finds out Nelle’s expecting his kid. Of course, that would cause plenty of conflict between Nelle and Ava (Maura West). It might even be the reason General Hospital put the schemers in the same storyline.
Ava will want Nelle’s head on a silver platter if she finds out the little tramp slept with Kiki’s boyfriend. It would turn Kiki and Nelle into fierce enemies as well. Plus, this baby would still have ties to a core family. It could naturally lead to Robert Palmer Watkins’ GH comeback as Dillon, so making him the “baby daddy” would be a great move.
